Chapter 7: Memories

Zane got ready to attack in case they interfered as Zephyr said "listen, human, you have no idea what is her power like you can't stand a chance against us...she's dangerous but don't worry we will take care of her" Zane got in front saying "I don't trust you... I never trust vampires..." Zephyr impatiently looked at him replying "We were sent by the dark lord to come after Eden along with the crystal but Herschel will decide what to do with you after" I then saw a flashback it was Herschel with a woman that had white hair and brown eyes then realized what happened the woman was attacked by Herschel I held her close to me as she began to flow away after that I heard a voice saying "Akilah" I gasped and remembered that The Dark Lord killed her after that Zephyr stared confused and told me I was discovering little by little my past at that moment, I felt a little strange then got the crystal and recited words that only I could understand ''Stacia..." I closed my eyes and repeated the same name and transformed.

I felt and looked different in shock then started questioning why I was in this form? What did it mean? Did Zane know about this? And what do the half-bloods have to do with me? Many questions came to my mind then Zane turned looking at me smiling and said the same name I did as I looked at his eyes saying "Rhett..." I was floating then looked at Zephyr, Alfred and Rupert Zane glared at the three of them as a purple aura surrounded his body as he started to change his hair turned into a darker black, his eyes turned into a dark purple, as a full black coat surrounded him and a red cape combined with brown dragon-like wings the half-bloods backed away but Zephyr said "looks like you have awakened already Zane or should I say...Rhett" Zane growled and warned him to back off or he would kill them without regretting it Alfred and Rupert backed away a bit while Zephyr questioned and looked at us evilly. Rhett closed his fists hardly as he summoned a sword pointing at Zephyr as Rupert and Alfred laughed then Zephyr said "Steel doesn't affect vampires even if were half-bloods" then Rhett got annoyed and explained to him it wasn't any sword it was a legendary one destined to kill any spiritual beings dark or not.

Zephyr just scoffed and turned that's when Rhett was about to strike but before it stabbed him he held it with his hand then threw him against the floor holding the sword then Zephyr said "you said any so why don't we give it a...TEST!" he stabbed Zane I heard him grunt then said "RHETT!" I went running to him but before I arrived with him Zephyr immediately grabbed my arm saying "NOT SO FAST STACIA!" he held it hard and I grunted then glared at him and said, "LET GO!" I was able to free myself then went to help Rhett; he tried to stand up but couldn't so I helped him then Zephyr said "How pathetic!" after that the three of them left. He leaned on my shoulders and I asked if he was okay and he was but I wanted to heal him so badly and warned him it was going to sting a bit I extended my hand as it was glowing but before I could help he refused to get healed but I continued convincing him then he accepted I closed my eyes and recited words that only healers could understand as the process began he started to grunt in pain but then got healed, Rhett felt relieved and smiled thanking me I smiled back and moved the hair away from his eyes saying "Your welcome" then hugged him and felt relieved that he was okay then he said "I wouldn't have been okay if it weren't for you" he caressed my cheek on his hand smiling as I took his hand and looked at his beautiful purple eyes and smiled as well.

He got up and offered to walk me home then transformed back to my normal earth form but Rhett remained the same then asked if he could hold me I didn't mind for some reason I felt safe whenever he did that so he picked me up I was blushing and said to myself that he was pretty strong and attractive after that he told me to hold on to him I was confused but I just looked at his eyes he extended his wings and began to fly I got a little frightened hugging him tightly "R-Rhett!" he chuckled as he continued as we flew above the clouds I said "Wow!" he smiled replying "pretty beautiful right" I agreed with him holding tight we both smiled then for some reason, we felt a strong spiritual connection then looked at each other in both forms having a great time together. I looked at Rhett and asked if he was a spiritual being then he replied "something like that" after that asked if he felt a strong spiritual connection between us and he agreed then asked if he could see spiritual beings as he answered if he could see my goddess form then that answered my question and it did.
