Red sits at the end of Charlie and Addison's bed. He wags his tail and tilts his head, waiting for his moms to get up. He barks loudly, startling awake Addison.
"Red, it is early and I am not working today. Please be quiet." She says to him, he just barks again and jumps up on the bed. "Down." She says to him, the golden retriever barks again and lays down between her and Charlie. "I told you to get down." The dog rolls onto his back and presents his belly to Addison, he wants a cuddle. She rolls her eyes and cuddles with the dog, gently playing with the fur on his belly. Charlie stirs and rolls over, thinking she's going in for a cuddle with her wife but ends up with a face full of fur.
"Red, you're not allowed on the bed," Charlie murmurs. Red rolls his head and licks Charlie's face, she pulls back away from the dog. "I really hate it when you do that, buddy." Charlie flops back.
"I told him to get down," Addison says to her wife.
"Well, he's like me. He wants a cuddle in the mornings."
"I'm not working today, so I'm going to have a look at getting things for Elijah's room."
"We need to tell Clark first," Charlie cuddles Red, her arm thrown over him and chin resting on top of his head. Addison nods and takes a breath, she smiles at the thought of the small toddler joining their family soon. "I gotta get up, Stark has been on my ass." Charlie pulls away from her wife and dog. "You waking the kid or am I?"
"It's a Sunday, let him sleep in." Addison smiles. Charlie gets out of the bed and stretches, Addison stares at her back, the tattoo filling her shoulder blades and neck. "Put some coffee on when you go down." The redhead tells her, Charlie just nods and then turns to Addison, she leans over and kisses her. Red breaks that kiss when he licks Charlie's face causing her to pull away in disgust.

"Ah, Dr Beck, Glad to see you finally made it into work. You missed rounds this morning."
"Yeah, I'm sorry...car trouble." Charlie adjusts her white coat as she falls in next to Alex and April. That 'car trouble' was really Addison pulling her into the shower and them having very hot and very steamy shower sex, causing her to be late.
"Car trouble" Alex laughs and whispers in her ear.
"Shut up," Charlie giggles and jabs him in the ribs.
"That age-old excuse," Dr Stark raises his eyes and shakes his head. "Now I have a 4-month-old biliary atresia patient who just got a donor."
"A liver transplant on an infant?" Alex questions
"I want in," Charlie murmurs to Alex.
"Beck, do my post-ops. Karev, Kepner I want you on my atresia kid."
