PERCY WAS THE first to finish bathing and getting dressed, his clothes smelled much better than what they originally did earlier. The castle staff made quick work to clean all the clothing for Vox Machina. Clicking footsteps were heard behind him, Percy bowing some to the princess.
"I see you are all done and freshened up. I do hope you all look prepared for the meeting." She said with a permanent blush. Percy was a handsome man and she had never really gotten the joys of conversing with men her own age. At least as herself.
She frowned her eyebrows, watching as barrels of ale were brought into the bathing room. The girl sagged her shoulders, face showing off her perplexed feelings. Percy watched as the girl let go of her hands, her posture taking a less serious tone. He slapped his hand to his forehead, shaking his head at the indecency the group had.
"Forgive them, my princess. They really do not know how to limit themselves." Korelia laughed, looking back over at Percy.
"I didn't really keep in mind what kind of people you are." She chuckled. "None the less, I do think the Sovereign will hear your cases."
"Yeah well, even if he does, we still have a fair less than average reputation. I'm positive it has followed us here to the castle"
"You all seem to know something. At least I would hope you do." Percy gave the girl a grin, looking over her.
"Percival, you can call me Percy. I realized I have never introduced myself." Korelia held out her hand, going in for a shake. But Percy knew better and instead went to give her hand a kiss. She smiled brightly, while not a teasing gesture, it was more a common manner he had to have known.
"Korelia Tal'Dorei, though I would assume you already knew it."
"The townsfolk talk, about the eldest daughter and how kind she is to the people. It is a pleasure to be in your presence."
"The pleasure is mine. I haven't had a civil conversation with people around my age in years. Being a princess really prevents you from going out anywhere." Percy smiled, looking her over and taking her in. What would've happened if Whitestone was still in his family's hands? Could there have been a chance of him meeting someone so civil and educated?
"I haven't really talked to anyone of high status in a while either. Forgive me if I say something that might not be suited for someone like yourself." Korelia giggled.
"I really doubt it. You seem to know more than you give yourself credit for."
A loud burp interrupted them, the two humans turning to see the rest of the males walking out. While looking clean of any dirt and scratches, they still looked hungover.
"You can take the man away from ale but the ale away from the man." Percy snorted, hearing the princess laugh at her own joke. Vax began to panic, hands patting his clothing down and looking around trying to find something.
