2 - Diagon Alley

Laney POV

"Okay all I need to get now is a pet of my chose" I say to my aunt. I really have no idea what pet I'm going to get, I love them all.

We continue to walk down the busy street until my aunt comes to a stop, me and my brother look at each other in confusion, her eyes were wide as she stared into a window.

I looked and saw what she was staring at, it was a tall, chubby ginger man. He had a lot of people with him. The next thing I know is my aunt goes running into the store, me and my brother follow.

She taps the man on the shoulder and he turns around and stares at my aunt, his eyes wide, he was quick to smile.

"That can't be you Mary" He cheers as he pulls her in for a hug. There were a few people with him who just looked as confused as us, one of the boys smiled at me, I smiled back.

"Laney, Tom, this is Mr Weasley" She introduces us.

"Hello" Me and my brother say in unsion. I watch as they start talking, They walk off just leaving me and my brother and who I'm assuming are Mr Weasley children.

Two boys who looked like twins came walking over.

"I'm Fred this is George" he spoke

"I'm Laney, this is my little brother Tom"

"Lovely to meet you" The boy I know to be called George says.

"What year are you in"

"I'm about to go in my sixth year, I'm going to Hogwarts"

"I'm in my sixth year two" another boys says, he puts his hand out for me to shake.

"I'm Ron"

"Nice to meet you Ron"

I continue chatting to Ron and the others before my Aunt and their Father come back over, we say our goodbyes then head back out into the street.

I'm glad I met Ron he was so nice, it will be good to know someone when I get to Hogwarts.

"Right Laney we need to go to the pet store "My aunt says.

We finally left the pet store after being in there for nearly an hour, I really didn't know what animal to pick, but in the end I got a cat. She was small and she was a tabby she really was beautiful. I also bought her a bed a collar and some toys, most of the day I wouldn't be there so she will need something to do.

We made our way back to the house and I took out all of the items I bought, I got my self some new clothes as well and a few other accessories I might need.

I take my trunk out from under my bed and place it on top of it, I begin folding up my clothes and putting them in neat piles, once I was done with the clothes I put in some shoes and then my book and ink and quills. I still had a little space so I got some of my own books, one was a muggle book my aunt gave it to me a few years ago and it was one of my favourites, it's called "war horse"

Once I had everything packed I got my outfit ready for when I leave for Hogwarts once I was done I placed my trunk near my door. I tidied the rest of my room before taking a shower and got in my pyjamas so I was all ready for bed.

As I shut my light off my door opened, my little brother cane in. I switched my light on, he was rubbing his eyes as he was crying.

"Hey buddy what's wrong" I say as I pick him up to sit on the bed.

"I don't want you to leave" he says between sobs.

"I'll always visit you" I say as I cuddle him.

"I'm going to miss you" He says as he starts sucking his thumb, after a while he fell asleep. I put him on the other side of my bed. I switched off the light as I tried going to sleep.

I really don't want to leave him.
