Agar Tum Saath Ho

Monami and Karan are married since two years . They are expecting and Monami is two months pregnant.

Monami is sitting in front of the mirror. She is feeling a bit restlessness. They had an appointment with the gynae today.
She is trying to tie her hair , but isn't able to. She is again and again removing her hair band , which is noticed by Karan who just came back from the academy.

K - Hi Monami !

M - Hey ( in a low tone )

Karan comes and stands behind Monami , they share an eye contact throught the mirror.

Karan takes the hair band in his hands and then ties her hair.
He bends towards her .

K - Kya hua hai, Rani Sahiba !?

M - Kuch bhi toh nhi , everything's fine. ( with a slight smile )

K- Okay ! ( with suspicious eyes )

Karan goes to freshen up .

After a while ,

Karan comes back from the washroom and sees Monami walking to and fro.

He comes and holds her hands in his , makes her sit on the bed and he himself settles in front of her , while kneeling down on the floor.

K - Dekho Monami , mujhe pta hai kuch baat hai. Please mujhe batao kya hua hai ?

M - Kuch nhi hai Karan . ( trying to avoid eye contact )

K - Arré jab tum baat nhi karogi , tab tak main kaise samajh paonga ki kya problem hai ? Come on , tell me what's the problem !?

M - Karan , mujhe na bahut darr lag rha hai , agar kuch gadbad ho gyi toh , ya koi complication aa gyi toh , kya karenge ?

K - Oh ho Rani Sahiba , itni si baat . Tumne reports dekhi hai na ?

Monami nods her head. (with slight tears )

K - Toh tumhe usme kuch complications dekhi ?

Monami nod her head in negative.

K - Bas toh phir tension kis baat ki hai ? See , humne city ki best gynae ko apna case dekha rhe hai , agar kuch problem hoti ,toh voh hume directly bta deti , right ?

M -  Ha Karan , but tab bhi mujhe bahut ajeeb feel ho rha hai.

K - Vo isliye kyunki aap bahut zyada soch rhi hai, itna mat sochiye,  Rani Sahiba . Jo hoga acha hoga , I am very sure. Apne mind me abhi sirf positive thoughts rakhiye . It's good for you as well as the baby. Mere baby ko pareshan mat karo. ( while keeping his hand on her stomach.)

M (with a chuckle) - Okay Mr. Khadoos Shergill , I'll try to focus on the positive part of my life. Aur vaise bhi tum toh ho hi mere saath. ( with a smile )

Karan also smiles.

M - Thank you ki tum mere life me aaye , agar tum mujhse problem nhi puchte toh me shayad aise hi stress leti rehti.

K - One on your face and you'll see. (indicating to a slap). Apne husband ko thank you bolte hue sharam nhi aati tumhe.

M - Acha okay sorry.

Both smiled at each other.

M - Karan , can I hug you !?

K -  Do you even need to ask me ?

Monami hugged him , and Karan too wrapped his hands around her. They were both still on the floor.

After a minute or two ,

K - Mrs Shergill , you aren't supposed to hug me in this position. It's not good for you in this condition.
Come on get up.

M- Hmm

Karan got up with Monami's hand in his hands. He kissed her forehead.

K - Acha yeh batao , lunch kiya tumne ?

M - Ha kiya na , thodi der pehle.

(She crossed her fingers behind her back)

K - Jab jhut bolna nhi aata toh kyu bolti ho ?
(Bringing her crossed fingers in front )

Monami bits her tongue and looks here and there.

M - Sorry (while holding her ears)

K - Tum har baar yahi karti ho Monami , itni careless kaise ho sakti ho tum , especially jab baat tumhari khud hi ho .

M - Sorry na Karan , aage se nhi hoga , I promise.

K - Pakka ?

Monami nods her head

K - Ohk , iss baar chodd rha ho , agli baar hoya na toh baat nhi karonga tumse.

Monami agrees with a cute pout.

K - Ab chale , gynae ke paas bhi jaan hai ?

M- Yeah !

Karan and Monami walk hand in hand with a serene smile on both their faces.
