D - Aap jaante hai inhe ?

K - Ji , yeh meri wife hai.

D - Oh . Nurse , yeh saaman inhe dedo.

Nurse nodded and left.

K(fumbling) - Doctor , inhe hua kya hai ?

D - It is an accident case , left haath me fracture hai aur head injury bhi hai. Humne inhe operate kar diya hai , blood loss zyada hone ki vajah se , yeh abhi unconscious hai.

Karan nodded.

He went and sat besides Monami.

K(crying) - Monami , i am sorry , maine uss uss phone par beleive nhi kiya. Maine socha tum mere saath prank kar rhi ho. Yeh saari galti meri hai , agar main tumhare saath gya hota toh yeh sab nhi hota.

Nurse came with a prescription.

N- sir , yeh dawai please le aayiye .

Karan nodded and went to the chemist shop.

After a while ,
Karan came back and held her hand. He kept his head on the bed and slept caressing her head.

In the morning :

Monami gains consciousness and looks at Karan.
She tries to get up , due to this movement , Karan also wakes up.

K- Monami ! Monami , tum thik toh ho na ? Kahi zyada toh nhi lgi ? Dard ho rha hai kya kahi ? Main doctor ko bolao ?

M- nhi Karan , main thik ho.

She again tries to get up , while Karan helps her.

K - Rani Sahiba , aapka accident hua kaise ? Aur tum toh apne ghar gyi thi na , toh yaha ?

M(pouting)  - Karan , voh main pahunchne wali thi ,par road cross karte hue , kisi car ne takkar mar di.

K- uss aadmi ko toh main chodunga nhi.

M(weeping) - tumhe kuch karne ki zaroorat nhi hai, tum khud toh abhi aaye ho. Jab raat ko mujhe tumhari zarurat thi tab kahan the tum ?

K- Monami , i am sorry . Mujhe sach me lga tumne phirse prank kiya.

M(sobbing) - Rehne do , Karan . Tumhe pta hai mujhe kitna dard ho rha tha . Jab mera accident hua toh sabse pehla naam tumhara nikla , par tum toh the hi nhi mere paas

K(guilty ) - Monami , i am sorry. Main janta ho main bahut bura pati ho , but please mujhe maaf kardo .

M - nhi Karan , iss baar nhi. Iss baar main tumhari baat nhi sunane wali.

K- Rani Sahiba , please na , main khud apne aap ko kabhi maaf nhi kar paonga. Tum mere saath aise mat karo na.

Monami turned his face the other side .
Karan sat there in guilt.

Till the time , a nurse came .

N- Sir , aap please bahar jayenge . Mujhe inki patti change karni hai.

Karan nodded and was about to go out , but Monami held his hand.

M(eyes filled with tears) - Mat jao na, Karan.

Karan looked at the nurse , who agreed .

N - Sir , aap yahi ruk jayiye.

Karan nodded .
He stood besides Monami on the other side.

The nurse was changing her dressing.

M- Aah !

She flinched and Karan turned his face the other side. He quickly wrapped his hand around her and tilted her face towards him.
