'Karan ! '

He heard Monami's voice , he immediately turned towards Monami , but didn't see any change.
Pouting , he then turned towards the source of voice.

He saw Monami on the TV screen . He came closer towards the TV , and rested his forehead on it , crying on his fate.

Ashi took the plate from Faizi's hand and sat in front of the TV . She then called Karan and tapped the seat besides him.
He looked at her for sometime and then came and sat besides him.

M(excitedly) - Karan , tumhe pta hai aaj main doctor ke paas gyi thi , unhone kaha ki baby ki growth normal hai. Thank God sab thik hai. Main bahut excited ho apne baby ko pakadne ke liye , ab bas mujhse wait nhi ho rha.

Karan's eyes were fixed on the TV , he smiled listening to her , while Ashi offered him a bite , which he ate happily.

The next video played :

M- Karan , humara baby na bilkul tumhare par gya hai , bilkul commando jaise , itni laate maar ta hai. Mujhe toh sone hi nhi deta. Main thak jaati ho , iske saath.

The video stopped , while Karan pouted like a small kid , and asked Ashi to play the next video.

M(sadly) - Karan , tum aao na mere paas , mujhe tumhari bahut yaad aa rhi hai .

(With tears ) - I Miss you !

and then Monami stopped recording ,because she knew Karan would definitely cry if he watches this.

Tears escaped from his eyes , and he didn't have the courage to wipe them off.

M(smiles) - Karan , main soch rhi thi ki girl hogi ya boy !? Main toh chahti ho ki mera ek chotu sa boy ho jo bilkul tumpe gya ho , that killer smile aur pyaari si aakhen ho.
(With a pout) Par mujhe pta hai tumhe girl chahiye . Vaise mujhe girl bhi chalegi , bas main yahi chahti ho ki baby healthy aur fit ho.

K(looking towards the screen) - Girl hi chahiye mujhe , bilkul tumhari jaise.

The next video plays :

M(angry) - Voh samjhti kya hai apne aap ko !? Huh , Karan tumhe pta hai mere neighbour me ek aunty rahti hai , voh aise taunts maarti hai mujhe . Pta nhi kya problem hai unki .

Karan fisted his hands after listening to her.

M- aur tumhara yeh baby , itna ziddi hai. Ek baar pe inhe pasta chahiye hota hai , toh kabhi salad . Eww ! Mujhe salad khana padta hai voh bhi sirf tumhari vajah se. Agar tum salad nhi kha rhe hote toh , mujhe aaj yeh khaas puss nhi khani padti.

Karan chuckled at her cute antics .

Last Video :

M- Karan , meri due date hai aaj , mujhe bahut excitement ho rhi hai , par main thodi nervous bhi hu , I mean pta nhi aaj sab kaise hoga , I just wish aaj sab kuch thik ho.
Aah !

The camera fell and video ended.

Karan looked at Ashi questiongly .

A- kya !? Aapke saamne toh hu main. Mumma ki delivery hui thi uss dinn.

Karan smiled , and kissed her forehead lovingly. He then looked at Faizi ,

K- Faizi mujhe khana nhi khaana .

Ashi and Faizi chuckled.

A- Papa , aapne khana already kha liya .

Karan looked at her , and then at the plate . He smiled and went back to Monami.

The next day ,

A kid aged four ran inside the academy , Ashi was happy to see her , she kneeled down and hugged her.

A- Hi baby , main aapka hi wait kar rhi thi , aao main aapko apke papa se milvati ho.

She then took her to Karan and Monami's room ,

A- Papa , dekho aapse aur mumma se milne kaun aaya hai.

K (smiling) - arré , yeh toh

Ashi nodded .

A - yeh Ayra hai , jiski mumma ne jaan bachai thi.

K- oh , toh yeh hai vo pyaari si doll.

Karan came and picked her in his arms. He then took her to Monami.

K- baby , yeh dekho aapki mumma na so rhi hai .

The moment Karan got to know Ayra was an orphan , he decided to adopt her. Her little shiny eyes attracted him  , he could see Monami's reflection in her. Ayra too felt a heart connection with Karan and Monami.

Ayra looked towards Monami ,

K(slightly crying) - apni mumma ko bolo na ki uth jaye. Ab toh aap bhi unke paas aa gye ho , toh inhe uthna chahiye na .

Ayra looked at Karan , and wiped his tears with her tiny hands.

Ayra - papa , aap ro mat , main bolti ho na mumma ko , voh abhi uth jayengi.

Karan nodded , while Ayra came closer to Monami , and kissed her forehead.

Ayra - mumma , ab bahut so liya aapne , main aa gyi ho na , please uth jao.

Monami didn't move a bit , which disappointed Ayra.
Karan and Ashi were weeping.

Ayra - aapko meri baat manani padegi mumma , aap aise mere saath nhi kar sakte.
(Towards Karan ) - Papa , mumma toh uth hi nhi rhi .

Karan looked at the other side and wiped his tears. He then kissed Ayra's head .

A - baby , mumma uth jayegi . Aap aise chinta mat karo , hmm !?

Karan who couldn't control anymore just left from there while Ashi looked at him ,

A- baby, aap mumma se baat karo , main abhi aati ho , okay !?

Ayra nodded her head while Ashi left behind Karan.
Ayra who was sad looking at her father , laid her head on Monami's chest and started sobbing .

Ayra - mumma , mumma , please uth jao na , dekho na papa ne apna kya haal bna liya hai . Aap so rhe ho , toh sab bahut sad hai , please uth jao , aur sabko phirse happy kardo.

Ayra(weeping) - aise mat karo na mumma , mere liye uth jao. Acha ,mere liye nhi toh papa ke liye toh uth jao. Aap toh unse bahut pyaar karte ho na.

She didn't see any response and was disappointed . She was about to leave when Monami started breathing heavily. Her hand showed a movement.
Ayra was shocked to see this. She immediately left to tell Karan about all this.

Karan was sitting on the couch , while Ashi went out for some urgent work.

Ayra came running towards Karan , but poor girl couldn't speak a word.
She tried speaking , but no words came out of her mouth except for a few sounds. Karan was worried after looking at her condition.

K - Ayra , ayra kya hua baccha ? Aap itne ghabraye hue kyu ho ?

Ayra couldn't speak anything , he just held Karan's hand and dragged him towards their room.

Karan was shocked to see Monami breathing heavily.
