Agar Tum Saath Ho - 2

It was almost dark. Monami and Karan were coming back from the gynae. Everything was fine , the reports were normal , and the gynae advised Monami to rest atleast for an hour in a day. They already had their dinner from a restaurant.

While coming back from the hospital in the car ,

M - Karan , I am so happy , sab kuch thik hai ,main aise hi itna tensed ho rhi thi , aur tumhe bhi pareshan kar diya.
( with sad expressions )

K - Koi baat nhi , at last sab thik hai voh matter karta hai , baaki kuch bhi nhi , right !?

Monami nodded her head and looks outside from the window.
She spots an icecream parlour.

M - Karan , stop the car .

Karan stops the car in a hurry.

K (in a worry) - Kya hua , kahi dard ho rha hai kya , main doctor ko call karo , ya phir seedha hospital hi chalte hai ? Btao na monami kya hua ?

M - Relax Khadoos Shergill , kuch nhi hua mujhe . I am good.

K - Thank God , ek second toh phir gadi kyu ruk vayi ?

M - Kyunki mujhe icecream khani hai. (Pointing towards the ice cream parlour and making a cute face )

K - Tumne ice cream khane ke liye gadi ruk vayi !!

M - Ha , toh usme kya ho gya !?

K - Monami , kya karu me tumhare , ek icecream khane ke liye chillai tum !
( with a sigh )
Tum na bilkul baby jaisi ho . Like baby like chachi. 😑

M- Acha Karan yeh sab choddo na , mujhe icecream khani hai , le aao .

K - Acha thik hai , bataiye konsa flavour khana hai aapko ?

M - Butterscotch would be fine.

K - Thik hai , main abhi aaya tab tak yaha se hilna mat.

Karan went and bought a Butterscotch cone for Monami.

M - Tum nhi laye apne liye.

K - Nhi mujhe nhi khani , tum kha lo

M - Arré ek bite toh le lo.

K - Nhi Monami tum kha lo.

M - Please na , Mr Shergill , just ek baar mere liye ( making a cute face) , acha mere liye nhi toh baby ke liye.

K- Okay , aapse bhala koi Jeet sakta hai.

Monami became happy and kissed him on his cheeks.
She offered him the icecream , which he happily took a bite of.

Momani was eating her icecream , while Karan was sitting there and adoring her.

M (with a sad expression ) - Mujhe aur chahiye .

K - No No , aur nhi milegi , isse se kaam chalayiye , Rani sahiba .

M - Please na karan.

K - Nhi nhi Monami , pichle baar tumne two cones khayi thi tu yaad hai na kya hoya tha. Cheekh cheekh ke tumhara bura haal ho gya tha. Kitna cold hoya tha tumhe , aur raat ko fever bhi hoya tha. Yaad hai na ?

M - Arré voh toh pehle ki baat hai , ab aise kuch nhi hoga. Please na karan , please. (With an adorable face)

K - Nhi Rani sahiba , iss baar aapki zidd nhi chalegi , hum ghar jaa rhe hai that's final.

Monami trying to act smart , was about to open the door , but Karan locked the car and started driving.

K - not this time. ( nodding his head negative )

Monami pouted.

M (talking while keeping her hand on stomach ) - Dekha baby , tumhare papa mujhe icecream bhi nhi khila rhe hai , very bad , ab main tumhare papa se baat nhi karungi.

Karan looked at the other side and smiled at her cute antics.

Monami was angry with Karan , and thus she was silent throughout the journey.

They came back and Monami didn't even look at Karan , got down and walked towards the house.
Karan smiled a bit , thinking about the ways to pacify her.

Monami directly came to the room , changed her clothes and laid down on the bed. Karan came inside the room.

He saw Monami was pretending to sleep while closing her eyes. He smiled and went to change.

After a while ,
Monami felt two hands wrapping around her stomach from behind , she knew it was Karan , but didn't react. She still tried to pretend that she was fast asleep.

Karan laid down beside her , with his both hands on Monami's stomach and back hugging her .

K - Kya yaar baby ,tumhari mumma toh bahut hi weird hai , ab batao maine toh uske bhale ke liye hi usse icecream nhi dilayi , aur iss vajah se itna naraaz ho kar bethi hai mujhse. Yeh toh galat baat hai na , aaj kal toh bhalai ka zamaana hi nhi rha. ( with a heavy sigh )

M ( in mind ) - Huh , khadoos Shergill ,mujhe sunna rha hai ,usse lag rha hai mujhe samajh nhi aa rha .

K - Ab tum hi batao baby main kya karo , tumhari mumma ko manane ke liye , koi toh idea do ? ( tapping his forehead , trying to think )

M - Kuch nhi , abhi mujhe sone do , mujhe bahut neend aa rhi hai.
(Monami turned towards him and said )

K - Tumhe kya hai , main apne baby se baat kar rha ho , main jab chahe usse baat kar sakta ho , haina baby !?

M - Par baby ki mumma ko abhi neend aa rhi hai , toh baby papa ko bolo ki so jaye aur sone de. (with an irritated face )

K (in mind ) - Yeh toh aise bhi nhi maani . Kuch aur sochna padhega .

M ( in mind ) - yeh khadoos shergill kuch bol kyu nhi rha hai , ek dum se chup ho gya.

She turned and saw he was not there in the room. She again closed her eyes ,but sleep was far away , she was actually thinking to forgive him , she shouldn't be sulking like this.

While thinking she felt some liquid on her feet.
She got up to see Karan pouring oil on her swollen feet .
She was surprised.

M - Karan , kya kar rhe ho !?

K - Tumhare dono feet swell kar rhe hai , toh socha thodi massage kardo oil se.

M - Karan , tumhe yeh karne ki zaroorat nhi hai , please chodd do na .

K - Kyu Monami , tum mujhe mna kyu kar rhi ho . Don't tell me tum abhi bhi yahi sochti ho ki husbands ko wife ke paer nhi chune chahiye.

M ( she was thinking the same but didn't show him ) - main toh isliye mna kar rhi ho ki tum bhi thak gye hoge , aaj academy bhi gye phir mere saath doctor ke paas bhi gye. Bas aur koi reason nhi hai.

K - Apni wife ke liye main kabhi nhi thakta . Chalo tum aaram se betho.

M - Par

K - Par var kuch nhi , just relax.

Karan started massaging her feet and she looked at her in adoration.
She couldn't help but smile.

M - Karan , I am sorry , maine aaj aise behave kiya , pta nhi mujhe kya ho jaata hai. (With a sad pout )

K - Koi nhi , Rani sahiba. Hota hai hota hai , kabhi kabar aisa hota hai.

Both smiled.

Karan then went to wash his hands and lied down besides Monami.
She came towards him and kept her head on her shoulder.
Karan kissed her forehead and hugged her.
They slept in each other arms.
