The next day ,
Karan was rushed towards the academy on a stretcher . All the cadets were shocked to see him like this.

Batra Sir - Faizi , Karan ko kya hua ?

F- Sir , vo Karan ko goli lgi hai.

B- what !? Jaldi se Karan ko dispensary le kar chalo.

Faizi nodded and Karan was taken to the dispensary , where Monami was looking at some files.

Sanjana - Monami , Monami ! Jaldi dekh na Karan sir ji ko goli lgo hai.

M(shocked & crying) - huh !?

F- Monami , Karan ko thik kardo please.

Monami comes back to her senses and she nods.
She then sends everyone out and look at Karan's wound. She took out the bullet , while monitoring his heart rate and oxygen levels .
She comes out to inform everyone.

M- Sir , Karan ab thik hai , maine usse operate kar diya hai , he'll gain his consciousness in an hour or so.

Batra sir nods.
Faizi and other cadets felt some relief.

B- Dr Monami , mujhe Karan ki saari updates chahiye , choti se choti baat bhi aap mujhe aa kar btayengi. Is that clear ?

M- Yes sir.

B- Everyone get back to work.

Everyone left except Faizi , who was still worried about Karan.

M- Faizi , Karan thik hai , there's nothing to worry about. Usse hosh aa jayega.

F- thank you Monami , tum pta nhi hai tumne aaj uski jaan bacha kar hum par kitna bda ehsaan kiya hai.

M(in mind) - Usne nhi bachati , toh khud kaise jee paati.

Monami just nodded and then went back to the dispensary.

M(in mind) - main maanu ya na maanu , main abhi bhi tumse pyaar karti ho , aur humesha karti rahungi.

M(holding his hand) - Karan , tum humesha aise karte ho , apni zidd man wane ke liye , mujhe aise hi blackmail karte ho , jab dekho tab goli lga wa ke aa jate ho. Par , iss baar main bhi ziddi ho , tumse zyada , tumhe itni aasani se maaf nhi karne wali main.

M(crying) - jab mujhe tumhari sabse zyada zaroorat thi , tab tum mere saath nhi the , tumhe pta hai , Nisha ko maine kaise sambhala , voh mujhse puchti thi ki uske papa kahan hai , aur main usko koi jawaab nhi de paati.

M(kissing his hand) - Tum bahut bure ho Karan , par main , main tumhare bina nhi reh sakti , aaj bhi tumse pyaar karti ho aur aage bhi karti rahungi. I love you Khadoos Shergill. I really do !

Karan gained his consciousness to find Monami sitting next to him and crying , keeping her head on his hand.

K- Monami !?

Monami looks at Karan , and then hugs him.
Karan too wraps his arms around her .
He felt peace after 3 years.

After a minute :

Monami realised their position and then broke the hug ,

M- tumhe rest karna chahiye , main batra sir ko inform karke aati ho.

She immediately leaves , while Karan looks at the retreating figure.

Outside the Cabin :

Monami was about to knock when she  heard Mr & Mrs Batra talking about something ,

Mrs. B - Pushpender ji , mere bacche ko pta nhi kiski nazar lag gyi hai. 3 saal pehle , usse apni biwi ko divorce dena pda , aur ab yeh sab.

B - Sahi keh rhi hai aap , jo 3 saal pehle hua , usse abhi tak Karan bahar nhi nikal paya .
