Jeene Ki Wajah - 3

The Third Day ,
It was the day when Monami had to be discharged. Her reports were quite normal now, and the happiest person among all of them was Karan.

Monami stood there admiring her husband who was busy distributing sweets to the staff of the hospital in order to thank them for his wife's quick recovery.

M(whinning like a kid) - Karan chalo na ab. Mujhe ghar jaana hai.

K - aaya , Rani sahiba.

He came back to the room , where the nurse was removing the drip , to band aid her arm.

K - ready ?

M - super ready. Tumne bag pack kar liya na ?

K - ha , voh toh maine kal hi pack kar liya tha. Arré , sister aap toh reh hi gyi , lijiye na mithai .

N - thank you sir !

K - acha , suno Monami , main ek baar ashi se baat karke aata ho , regarding the medicines and diet chart.

(Turning towards the nurse) - Tab tak aap please iske saath rehengi ?

N - ji sir.

Karan had reached the door , when Monami asked the nurse to give her some sweets.

K - don't , don't even try this Mrs Shergill. Aapko abhi ke liye mitha mna hai , so no sweets for you.

He came back and took the box along with him while she just pouted .

M(grumpily) - huh , khadoos shergill , ek piece khaane deta toh kya chale jaata iska !? Aap hi btayiye ek piece se kya hota hai.
Lekin nhi , khadoos shergill toh hai ziddi.

N - vaise ma'am ek baat keho aapko , sir aapse bahut zyada pyaar karte hai , aur yeh pyaar uski har ek movement me jhalakta hai.

M(smiles) - yeh baat toh sahi kehi aapne , pyaar toh voh mujhse bahut karta hai.

N - main yahi dua karungi ki aap dono ka saath aise hi zindagi bhar rhe.

They said looking at a happy Karan coming towards the room , along with Ashi.

A - hi Monami , kaisa feel ho rha hai ab ?

M - bahut mast.

K - ha ha , mast toh feel hoga hi discharge jo mil rha hai aapko.

Ashi and the nurse chuckled.

M - Mr Shergill , aap kuch zyada hi mazak nhi uda rhe mera ?

K - aww , tum toh bura maan gyi , acha ab main kuch nhi bolungi.

He came and kissed her forehead.

A - see Monami , tumhari reports kaafi normal hai , but that doesn't mean ki you are fit to join your work. Tumhe abhi bhi rest karna hoga aur medicines time par leni hogi. Medicines ke baare me maine Karan ko bta diya hai , voh uss cheez ka dhyaan rakhega. Aur ha , hume tunhare blood sample bhi lena hoga , I think voh abhi chaar dinn baad , hum lenge. Hmm ?

M - okay.

A - chalo , abhi toh tumhara discharge ho rha hai , but take care.

M - thank you for your concern.

A - I'll take your leave now .

She came and side hugged Monami and then came towards Karan and hugged her , to which Monami frowned.

K - chalo , Monami .

She got up with the help of Karan.
He supported Monami by holding her waist while Monami's hand rested on his shoulder.
