"Alright, Y/N-chan, please introduce yourself."

I looked at him and saw a gentle and comforting smile on his face. I cannot help but smile back. I sighed in my nervousness and looked at everyone.

"Good morning, everyone. My name is Y/N. I, just as the Principal stated, am his grandniece. Please take care of me."

"Alright, Y/N, please say something that will make them intimidated."

"Ye-huh?"

"You heard me right, Y/N-chan," he patted my head. "Say something out of this world, and that no one can understand it."

"Uh... Okay."

I pondered what to say and remembered a girl who became my friend for a short while. The reason that we stopped was she transferred to another school. She gave me her number, which I still have today, but the thing is,

I didn't have a phone. I often wonder how she is these days, but perhaps she has forgotten about me.

I smiled and cleared my throat.

He looks handsome, and his... frowning rest face adds more charm.

"Sullivan-sama, please stop this. Y/n. Even if the person who ordered you is your granduncle, if you know something bad will happen, please refrain from doing it."

"I apologize." I bowed my head towards the teacher.

"I do not know what kind of reaction Sullivan-sama had when he let her grandniece do this. And as for you, I do not know if you are bold or idiotic enough for you to do this as he ordered."

Still bowing, I apologized once more.

"I apologize as I did not know what kind of effect those words had. I only knew those words from my first and last friend. I apologize."

I felt his stare for a bit more and made a tsk sound. I understand what he meant, so I was not angry even for a bit. I stood backed up and looked at Gramps to see him smiling at me. He mouthed 'good job' towards me, which made me smile. I bowed in front of everyone and went down to my place. No one dared to look me in the eye. No one dared to question what I had done to them. Though some looked at me with admiration and jealousy because I am a kin of Gramps, the rest did not meet my eye.

The next one who went up to the stage was a freshman representative called Alice Asmodeus. A person like me—the bloodline magic, I meant. I glanced to my sides and saw girls smiling and giggling. I looked at him again and saw him glaring at me. Perhaps having my speech first has something to do with it. I wonder why, but since I keep hearing that he is looking at them, I let them have their moment.

Sometime after, the ceremony finally ended. I used the chance to roam around the school. I wanted to come into Gramps' office, but I think he won't do any work, so I set aside that idea. The school is large enough to accommodate more students, but this is the best school. Of course, they are selective on who has the right to be a Babyls student.

I then remembered the other school that Opera-san mentioned. I wonder what kind of school that is.

I turned around to see that Asmodeus guy walking towards me.

"I demand a duel. You stole my spotlight and to end the question of who is the better demon once and for all!"

My bloodline is better, but since I don't have any practice or experience using it makes it more advantageous for him.

"I do not know what you are talking about. I came here to study and develop myself. The ranking promotions take place later on-"

A fireball suddenly was thrown, and I easily dodged it. He did not hesitate to throw more and sometimes multiple ones, while I easily dodged those things. Perhaps he heard something in the crowd that made him riled up. He then decided to attack me while moving forward, while I only kept my defenses up and dodged his fire magic. "Y/N. Asmodeus. Fighting on the first day, I see."

Once I fixed us up, I bowed my head slightly.

"I apologize for the disturbance, Kalego-sensei. It was self-defense as he initiated a duel. I did this because he almost hurt someone else with his magic."

"...Hm, is that so? Then, go to the clinic for him and go to the Principal's office to report what happened."

"Yes, Sensei."

I soldier-carried Asmodeus towards the clinic, helped the nurses settle him on a bed, and went to the Principal's office, only to be hugged by the mentioned.

"Y/N-chan~ you're doing well, I see. I miss you!"

"Gramps, I just did a German Suplex to a student who fainted as a result, and now you're commending me for it?"

"Ah no... Well, I'm happy to see how strong you are and how aware you are of your surroundings, but I am not talking about that. Take a seat, my dear child."

I sat at one of the chairs in front of his desk, and he served me tea. Once he gave it to me, I said my thanks. I let it cool before sipping the refreshing drink.

"So, what was it that made you feel proud, Gramps?"

"Well, compared to the old you who was letting others trample you, you defended yourself. Well done, Y/N," he did his ole habit of petting my head, "I'm glad you're finally learning how to respect yourself and put yourself up first. I hope all the best for you, not just as your Gramps but also as the Principal of this school."

"Thank you." I genuinely said with a big smile.
