The door of the Principal's office suddenly opened and revealed Asmodeus who had a blank face. Y/N, as usual, was ready to apologize when suddenly he kneeled in front of her.

"Y/n-sama!" He suddenly said, with his eyes twinkling.

It made Y/n a tad uncomfortable, so she told him to stand up.

"No! Please listen to my words. As stated by the rules, those who are defeated will serve the one who defeated them. So! Y/n-sama, please let me serve you-"

"No. No, that is not possible as I have no plans on taking someone as a slave just because I stopped them from hurting someone."

"But it is a custom here in school, and I am doing this by will! So please, Y/N-sama! Let me be your slave-"

"I will agree if you stop stating yourself as my 'slave,' as I am not into those things."

"What do you mean- Oh!" He finally realized, which made him blush.

She wanted to laugh at his innocence, but she was so uncomfortable in the situation she is in now, so she agreed to let him 'serve' her so that this situation would end.

I wanted a friend, not a slave, though. But this will do, she thought.

The principal, who watched this scene throughout the end, laughed loudly. He can't believe that his grandniece not only gained a 'special friend,' but the special friend of hers is one of the noblest families the kingdom has.

As for Y/N, she can only watch as Asmodeus writhed in happiness. She thought that perhaps this person is... into that.

"I wanted... I wanted another type of relationship, but this will do. I would like you first to stand up and then accompany me on getting my things, please."

"Will do, Y/N-sama! But... what relationship are you talking about?"

"Ah, it's nothing."

She looked at her granduncle, who was having the time of his life. He knows that she wanted a friend as she never really had friends in the human world. What makes it funny is that it did technically come true, but instead of a friendship, it's more of a master-slave relationship which would've made this story a whole different story.

"Well then, let's go, Y/N-sama. Excuse us, Sullivan-sama!"

"Have fun, kids!"

Both do not know that there will be another person who will join the group.

"Say, Asmodeus, how about I call you a nickname. Your name is a bit long, no? And I don't think you like your first name Alice, so let's make a nickname out of your—Asmodeus?"

She looked back to see a frozen Asmodeus. She flinched when he looked up to her and had these sparkling eyes staring at her passionately. He ran towards her and held her hands in front of them.

"Whatever name you call me is an honor, Y/N-sama! And how considerate and sharp you are! I DO hate my first name."

"Really? I just had a hunch that you do not like it. But I think it suits you. Hm... How about Asmo-kun?"

The way Asmodeus blushed with sparkling eyes made Y/N flustered. This was her first time holding a hand with someone and a handsome man at that. But as she thought of that, the way Asmodeus felt happy as this was the first time someone made a nickname for him, she didn't mind calling him like that starting today.

They continued walking towards the chem lab, where the books and other school supplies were handed there. That's the only thing that was on their minds. Neither of them knows that another person will be joining them. That person coming into their lives was the key to fully opening Y/N's heart.
