___________________________________________________________________________________"He's badly injured!" Erza exclaimed as she, Gray and a major injured and unconscious Natsu entered the hotel lobby. Natsu peacefully lay in the arms of Erza, though his face was contracted in pain. From his chest, blood ran, leaving a trail on the white, shiny hotel floor. His arm hang limb from his body, twisted and turned in all the wrong ways.
"Natsu?!" Lucy exclaimed in horror, her eyes wide as she saw Natsu's condition. She, Wendy and the exceeds had been sitting in the lobby, waiting for the others to return, though they would never have expected them to return in this condition.
"N-Natsu-san!" Wendy whispered, clasping her hand up in front of her mouth.
The big and bright reception went silent, and some of the other guests began whispering and cover their children's eyes.
"Wh-what happened?" Happy tried to say through the tears, spilling from his big eyes.
"No time to explain," Gray said, frustrated trying to tell the lobbyist to back off as the they were told to leave - due to the heavy amount of blood now scaring their costumers away. "Wendy, you can heal him, right? It's poison, you can heal that, right?"
Nodding a little hesitant, Wendy gestured for Erza to put Natsu on the ground. Erza obliged and put him gently on the ground. Wendy placed her hand up in front of Natsu's chest where a glow of magic illuminated.
"E-Erza, what happened?" Lucy stuttered, tears in her eyes. If this was Hidaka's doing, it would mean that she were to blame. And that it was her fault that her best friend now lay injured, maybe dying, on the hotel floor.
"Hidaka somehow overpowered Natsu," Erza explained with a somehow shocked and shaky voice. "He... he had a knife. The knife was poisoned, and... he had already injected Natsu with something. We only just made it."
Widening her eyes, tears began flowing down of Lucy's cheeks. This was her fault. Natsu had been hurt - and badly.
Not wanting to show even more weakness, she held a hand up in front of her mouth to block any noise that would want to escape.
"L-Lucy are you-" Erza started, but was cut off by Gray.
"Guys, I talked to the receptionist, and we need to move," he explained. "I'll deal with that reckless idiot's leftovers." He gestured to the blood on the floor.
And with that, Lucy broke. She turned around and ran through the hallway, still keeping in her sobs.
"Lucy!" Erza called.
"Leave her be for now," Charle, who had been by Natsu's limb body for a while, said. "She needs some time alone. Even if you guys think she needs her friends, leave her be."
For a moment the group just stared at Charle, but after a while they decided to listen to her and begin to move Natsu.
___________________________________________________________________________________"Yeah, I'm sobbing over your love story, but this isn't ending like that." He pulled Natsu by his broken arm, making him lay flat on his back.
Raising the blade, he hovered it over Natsu's chest.
He lunged down towards his chest.
