"Lucy-nee-san," the little boy, in the end of the hallway, called. Lucy alerted, looking at the little boy, showing no reaction. They were in the mansion. The Heartfilia Mansion! "It's good to see you again! Let's play!" And then he ran the other way. The hallways and Lucy's head echoed with the laughter of the little boy.

"Wait up!" Lucy exclaimed, running after him at full speed. It was like the corridors narrowed as she ran through them. After only a few minutes of running, she could barely stand straight, due to the space of the hallways.

As she reached the end of the hallway, a door appeared on the empty wall. Lucy just looked at it for a second before she entered it, entering her dad's study. A place she hadn't been for a long time.

At the desk in the end of the room, her dad sat, writing something down on an envelope. His eyebrows were contracted, but not in anger. Just as a reflex. That was how his face looked when he worked.

The door behind Lucy disappeared and she found herself in the middle of the study. Suddenly the big door behind her opened and a little version of Lucy walked in. She was about ten or eleven. It wasn't that Lucy wasn't shocked about this, but the thing that shocked her most was probably, that her former self held hands with the little boy. He only looked a little younger than her, like eight years or so.

As the two children passed her, the little boy looked back and smiled at her.

"Papa," little Lucy beamed and smiled widely. "Can Luke and I go to the park? Pretty please!"

I remember that day... Lucy thought, walking closer to the children. But... I don't remember him... Luke. The name felt familiar on her tongue.

"I'm not stopping you." Jude told her, not looking up from his work. Little Lucy frowned a little, looking down, but did not give up hope.

"You could... go with us," Little Lucy suggested, smiling. She looked down at the boy holding her hand. "It could be like old times!"

"Stop it!" Lucy yelled, remembering the memory. "You are just making him mad! He has short temper! He's going to hit you... me?"

The little boy, apparently named Luke, holding the child version of Lucy's hand, turned to the original Lucy again, smiling warmly. "She can't hear you," he said, cryptically, making a shiver go down Lucy's spine. "No one here can hear you, except for... me!" He then turned to the enacting scene in front of them.

"Papa, you should really go get some fresh air," Luke agreed, throwing his little fist into the air. "You are sitting inside here all day! Lucy told me, that it's not good for papa to sit inside all day! He can get sick by it!"

Little Lucy flinched, looking down at the boy. Terrified. And the original Lucy knew why. One does not just talk to her father like that, unless they wish for punishment. And that was exactly what was going to happen now.

Jude clenched the grip around the pen, making it break. The two kids in front of him flinched, starting to back away, but Jude had already stood up, walking up to the little Lucy. He grabbed her arm, tightly, making her turn her head away. The little boy had already let go of her hand, standing by the wall, shielding himself.
