{ Michael's P.O.V }

I sat in my car, behind the wheel, with an extremely large grin on my face. I hadn't stopped thinking about Mel since, well since I was 7 at least.  She's always been so real, so strong. I just wish I wouldn't of waited so long to talk to her, and I wish the circumstances were different. Unless we can figure out who the real killer is, then clear the names of me and my friends, then everything will always be a secret. That doesn't mean I can't at least try to be romantic. I had the perfect idea to show how much I cared about her, it was cliche and cheesy, but it was the best I could do. For now.

I walked along the pavement on the way to the flower shop, sunglasses on, just blending in. I was pretty good at it by now, if anything serious happened, I'd just have to control my anger. I walked in with the same large grin on my face, " Hey Artie " I smiled staring at the owner of the flower shop, he was also an old family friend ( Who knew I was innocent ). " You look happy today, are you here for more lilies? " he asked with a smile, I nodded " Yes, can I get them in green this time. Not like dried grass green, but like, Christmas tree green, if that makes sense ". Artie nodded, writing down the information " Those should be ready by 6 pm tonight ". I smiled and nodded " Cool, I'll be back then ", when I turned around to walk out the door, I walked straight into someone. " Watch were you're going mate! " someone spat, defiantly a male voice. " Sorry " I mumbled with my head down, I went to take a step around him, that is until he spoke again. " So... You're little Melody's new fling " the person growled, I looked up coming face to face with that bastard Sean. " I'm not sure what you're talking about " I gritted through my teeth as I glared at him, he chuckled " I'm not an idiot, I've seen you with her, I've seen you leave her flat ". ( So, I'm not the only one who watch's her ) I glared at him more intensely than before, Sean smirked  " Has she given it to you yet?... What am I saying, of course she has. She puts out awfully easy ". The anger inside started to rise, " Shut up " I spat shoving him slightly. Sean chuckled " Oh, you think she likes you... she'd like anything with a dick. Face it, Melody can't ever love anyone, she's a heartless fucking bitch ", at that moment I wanted to pull that fucking smirk off of his face. I couldn't take this conversation any longer, if I continued to stand here, I would end up doing something stupid. I turned around on my heels and started walking to my car, my fists were balled and they were starting to shake.  "Yeah, go back to that fucking slut!! " Sean yelled after me, I easily ignored him and reached my car, without going back and bashing his fucking face in.

I drove quickly home, still just as pissed. I had to hit something, I couldn't just let this one go. I took in a few deep breaths, before punching the dashboard multiple times. Afterword, I let out a deep groan as I shook my hand, already seeing my knuckles beginning to bruise. I got out of the car, slamming the door. I walked into the house, hoping I could just slip upstairs without running into the guys.         " Michael! " Calum shouted  from the kitchen, " What? " I snapped back at him. I didn't get an answer, so I just walked into the kitchen, to find out what he wanted. They could tell something was wrong, don't ask me how, they just knew. " What crawled up your ass and died? " Luke questioned as he strummed his guitar " Yeah and where did you go? ". Calum smirked even though he knew where I was " Where do you think he went, to visit with his lover ",  I rolled my eyes. " So you're gonna continue to see her? Michael, we made a deal. You said that you'd help her with the case, and then when our names were clear, you'd stop seeing her " Luke sighed in an aggravated tone, I ran my hand through my hair. " I know, I know! I'm not gonna continue to see her, I've changed my mind about this whole thing. She can deal with the case on her own " I exclaimed loudly, walking to the staircase. " You can't do that to her. Michael, you wanted her to start caring about you and now that she does, you just going to dismiss her. That's fucked up and cruel! " Calum yelled walking after me, I shrugged " I'll do whatever I want Calum and right now, I want to be left alone! ", " For how long? " Calum asked sounding confused. I continued waking up the stairs, " Give me 24 hours " I sighed shaking my head.

Once I reached my room, I walked in slamming my door behind me, then I collapsed on my bed. My phone had rang a few times, I suspected it could be only one person. I felt bad for doing this to her, but it had to be done. I was getting too attached, I had to put a stop to this. I told myself that I'd be alright, that she'd be alright and she'd get over me. She needed to focus on her job and on this case, something had to be done about this. So, I had to take a step back.
