" How loud do you think Bakugou is compared to Present Mic? "
" Fuck dude, I'm sure his voice is so much louder than Present Mic. "
This conversation has been going on for hours. Every time Katsuki spoke, they tried to compare him to a louder and louder hero.
" Bakugous pretty violent though, I doubt he'll make it as a hero-"
" Guys, come on I'm trying to study, " Kirishma cut them off for what felt like the twelfth time that night.
This is how some days went. Some days they got together and stayed up stupid late and studied in Kirishma's dorm. Katsuki only ever came to help him, as he asked him to. However, it seemed like it was getting worse and worse every single time he came. He wasn't sure why he came anymore, nor why he helped the group at all. Kiri insists that they're all friends, but it didn't feel like that anymore. It felt like something more. He pressed his lips together and looked down to his lap where his notebook sat. The papers on top were slowly sliding more into his lap, but he grabbed them and adjusted them.
" Hey Bakubro, could you help me with number ten in the math assignment? " Kirishma broke the awkward silence that he technically made.
He ashy blonde blinked, before nodding and pulling out that homework. He, of course, had already finished it into class. He looked over the problem before talking Kirishma through it, helping him find the notes from class and everything. However, it seemed his teaching voice had gotten too loud again. It wasn't like he could hear himself correctly though, so is it really his fault?
" Jesus, do you have to yell that? " Sero huffed at him.
They were always playful, everyone was with it. It happened so often now though, that it didn't feel playful anymore. Normally Katsuki was good about not letting the comments get to him. He has been for years. But, he hasn't exactly been in the greatest mindset lately, so it was really starting to affect him more than what he would've liked.
" I bet Aizawa can hear you all the way down stairs dude, you're gonna get us yelled at, " Denki proceeded to complain.
" How do you not loose your voice doing that? I'm sure it's a ton of strain, " Mina questioned as she tilted her head.
It was more of an innocent question, but it was still enough to push him over. It did hurt, but it was a pain he's pretty used to. His vocal cords had grown a customed to the tone he always used.
" Guys knock it off, he was just trying to help me, " Kiri cut in.
He seemed to have this irritated expression with them. It threw Katsuki off, honestly. He wasn't entirely sure why he even cared, sometimes he teased him too. However, he seemed to have figured out what his limits were.
" It's fine, I'm fucking tired of stating at dunce face anyways, so I'll provide just fucking go, " Kat spoke up finally as he gathered his things and pulled himself up.
" Bakubro, you really don't need to-" Kiri attempted to protest but it was too late. He had already changed his mind.
The blondes body felt heavy, like a ton of weight had been thrown onto him. Apart of him wanted to stay, only because he likes hanging out with Kirishma. However, he just couldn't stand being around many other people lately. They always took the jokes to far now.
