Another day, another bright and early morning. Glasses had been called off so that the staff could work out what to do. Aizawa had enough of Katsuki's behavior and Yamaha being worried about him constantly was starting to drive the man nuts. After chugging way too much coffee, he had made his way to the meeting room where everyone had sat. He wasn't entirely sure what they'd discuss let alone how to explain it. They all had agreed on teaching the other students about speech and hearing disorders, even offer a sign language class, but none of them knew how to go about these said classes.
" Bakugo's behavior has been getting worse, " Yamaha deadpanned as Aizawa sat down beside him.
He watched the stress blonde for a moment before his eyes fell onto Nezu. As usual, the odd creature was calm and drinking tea. He didn't understand how he could be so calm all the time. It was a little unnerving, honestly.
" How are we even going to go about a presentation like this? " Midnight had spoken up.
Aizawa sank down in his chair, trying to think. He felt so tired, despite the amount of coffee that ran through his system a mile a minute. He tried to come up with all these ways they could go about this.
" Why not an assembly! " All Might suggested, calmly, yet his usually randomly cheerful way.
How can someone be so cheerful so early in the morning? Aizawa didn't understand it, plus it gave him a headache. He didn't know if he'd ever be able to understand. He sighed and leaned forward.
" If we make an announcement about an assembly most students won't pay attention and there's no knowing how many will skip, " Aizawa pointed out.
Those again the table collectively nodded in agreement. Poor All Might had this sadden expression and sank back into the chair he sat in. He felt bad for shooting down his suggestion, but they do teach superpowered teenagers. If he was in their shoes, he would've skipped. Even if the assembly was for his close friend.
" What about a class? Right after lunch we can surprise them with the material as a sort of mental health subject. Not permanently, but maybe just for the rest of the week? " another teacher had suggested.
It wasn't a bad idea. Plus offering the opportunity for all students to come to then more freely may help more than just Katsuki. He thought about it, thinking if it was really a good idea to take time out of class just for a twenty to thirty minute open discussion on mental health.
" I like that idea, " Yamaha had agreed, surprising Aizawa.
" Really? " Midnight had voiced in questioning, not that he could blame her either.
" Yes, it would allow an open discussion overall! "
" I agree, it won't just single out a single student and make things worse. It could allow others to also feel welcome to come to us about issues they may be dealing with, "Aizawa voices, resisting the urged to shrink back as everyones gaze turned back to him.
He practically could feel his childhood friend beaming with happiness beside him. He guessed it was, unfortunately, rare for him to agree with the same things he did in these meetings. His eyes flicked up as he heard the soft clink of glass hitting glass.
" Alright! It's decided then. For the rest of the week we will hold a lesson after lunch on mental health, or rather an open discussion. Let's plan what we'll discuss, shall we? " Nezu spoke up, wearing that oddly calm smile.
It always unsettled him, Aizawa swore.
