Third POV 

Dushala was in light sleep today. She and Subhadra had spent all the night talking and giggling about different things. 
So, for the night Subhadra had retired with Dushala only. Dushala had insisted about it and Subhadra could not say no. 

And when in her light sleep, she felt a presence in the room. 
She decided that she has to be careful, because it could be anyone. The two of them could be in danger right now. 

She slowly let her hand slip beneath her pillow and let her hand wrap around the familiar hardness of the dagger.  
And her another hand went to poke Subhadra lightly. Dushala had to wake her friend and sister, so that they could easily fight away who ever it was. 

But before she could wake Subhadra up, a hand was wrapped around her arm that held the dagger and the other was placed over her mouth. 

Shit! Who is it? And what do they want from us. 

"Do not scream, Dushala." A voice says in my ear. 
It is Badi Bon! But what is she doing here, like this?   

"And be silent please." She whispers again. 

"What happened?" I whisper back. 

"It's morning, do not worry." She whispers, "Now come on." 

Dushala had not even got up from his bed, when she is being dragged out from the room by her Badi Bon. 

"What happened, Badi Bon?" Dushala questions. 

"Nothing serious," She shakes her head. "but do you want to scare Subhadra?" 

"Always!" Dushala exclaims, gleefully. 
"By the way, you look awesome." Dushala gives her sister a thumbs up symbol. 

"Thank you." Ananya smiles gratefully at her sister and kisses the top of Dushala's head. "You will look pretty too. I know, even though you are not ready yet." 

"How?" Dushala raises an eyebrow. 

"Sister instincts." Ananya shrugs. Making Dushala laugh. 

The two giggle amongst themselves before sharing ideas on how to scare Subhadra. 

"Come on, let's do it fast." Ananya says. 

"Yeah, she may get up." Dushala nods along. 

"Who may get up?" Subhadra's voice floats to them, making Dushala jump in surprise.
She was not at all expecting that. 

"You." Ananya says. 

"What do you mean?" Subhadra questions. 

"We were talking, right?" Ananya says. "So, Dushala was just being cautious." 

"Right." Subhadra nods along. "And I for once do not believe that."

"Why?" Dushala questions, un- sure why her best friend said that.

"Because, I was awake since the moment you pocked me." Subhadra smiles sweetly at her best friend and sister.

The two girls share looks before giving their friend and sister a sheepish look.
