Third POV

The Princes of Hastinapur were in a sour mood.
All of them had been requested (read: ordered) to be present in the court for the hearing of the day.

Why did they need to do this?
It was a suggestion for Prince Karn, why have they been dragged into it?

They entered the court, surprisingly everyone was there except the king himself and the person because of whom they were stuck here aka, Karn.

What the heck! Was the only thought that went through head of them all.
All except Yudhishthira, of course.

Why was he not here till yet?
Where was he even?

And how dare he come to the court late?
Doubt, anyone would even scold him.

They took their places assigned and frowned upon seeing that the people in the court were looking at something in between them. Someone was there and he or she held more attention than the Prince of Hastinapur themselves.

But who was it?
And what were they doing?

Surprisingly, neither Raj Mata nor Maha Mahim seemed surprised of what was going on. Rather there was a twinkle in their eyes.

What is really happening there?
Where is Prince Karn?
And why is neither of them not worried about him not being here?

"Maharaj Dhritarashtra is arriving in the court." The solider announces.

Everyone in the throne room, instantly straighten ups on hearing that. Dis- respecting the King was not acceptable and they needed to be in their best behavior in front of him.

The Prince's turn to look the crowd group they had just seen. They really wanted to know what was there, in middle of the large crowd. And why were people se interested in there.

But they still could not see much. Only that someone was sitting in between them. And then, Maharaj was there and the prince's had to rise to greet the king of Hastinapur and their uncle or father respectively.

Once Maharaj was seated, the gaze of the prince's once again turned to the crowd. Which to their utter surprise was still the same.

Was the person in middle of them much more important than the King himself?
And if so, then who was it?

Suddenly some of the people moved away and the person sitting in between them all stood up, he was facing away from them. His height much more than a normal persons' should be. He was a Kshatriya no doubt.

When he turned to face them, all the Prince's took in a deep breath, they were not expecting it really. This was just so not expectable.

It was Prince Karn.
