Third POV

The royal family was still in shock of the happenings. After all they had just seen Prince Karn scold Raj Mata Satyavati, on the topic of not taking care of her own health.
They had never even dared to tell her that she looked a little down weather. They only asked her about it when she herself complained about feeling off.

"You are the one to talk, Adi." Raj Mata Satyavati says, as Prince Karn pulls away from the hug and looks at his grand mom. "You yourself look like you have not have had your food since the last month."

"Nope. I have had my proteins. They make me look like this handsome guy, that I am." Prince Karn replies, smiling cheekily.

"Handsome and you?" Raj Mata Satyavati question, as Princess Ananya snorted in the background, at what Karn said.

"Dadi!" Karn whines. Giving a 'you- are- mean- look.' to Princess Ananya.

"What am I saying the truth, you look like an over grown monkey." Raj Mata Satyavati comments.
"Am I right, Ananya?" She further turns to the princess of Dwarka.

"I think we are dis- respecting the monkey here." Princess Ananya tells Raj Mata Satyavati, a thinking expression on his face.

"Rude." Prince Karn says. "And that is so not true. I do not look like a over grown monkey."

"So not true." Princess Ananya shakes her head.

"Subhi agrees with me, right Subhi?" Prince Karn turns to the said princess.

"Sorry Dada, but you only taught me," The other Dwarka princess, Princess Subhadra speaks up in her sweet honey like tone. "That I should never lie."

Raj Mata Satyavati and Princess Ananya burst out laughing, making Princess Subhadra smile widely.
Maha Mahim Bishma hides a smile. While the rest of the royal just at the people, they could not even think anything. It was all very overwhelming.

"See papa, they are bullying me." Prince Karn pouts looking at his father.

"Are they Karn?" Maha Mahim Bishma questions, raising his eyes as if he did not hear anything they were talking about.

"Betrayal. I was betrayed by my own father." Prince Karn says dramatically, as he hides his face in his grand mom's shoulder, faking crying.

"Come on, monster." Raj Mata Satyavati laughs as she runs her hands through her grand sons' hair. "I will cook some Kheer for you."

"Really!?" Karn explains, raising his face and looking at his grand mom.
The excitement in his eyes were easily visible.

He looked not older than a two- year- older in that minutes. A juvenile child.

"Yes," Raj Mata Satyavati chuckles at his excitement. "Come on Ananya, join us. You too Subhadra."

The said people stood and followed Raj Mata Satyavati. She turned when she reached the gate and whispers something to Subhadra before looking at her step- son Bishma. "Are you not coming, Deva?"

Since, Prince Karn made entry in their lives, Maha Mahim Bishma and Raj Mata Satyavati got much closer.

"Yes Matey. I am coming." Maha Mahim Bishma smiles, joining the group.
Which has made an addition of Dushala, courtesy of Subhadra.
Both of them learning something from the other and somethings together.

Bishma found another mother in her. While Raj Mata Satyavati found the son she had been asking from so long.
She had found her family in Bishma and Karn. The vice versa being true too.

All these years, that Karn was gone, the mother- son duo came much closer than they imagined for the same reason. Above this, they had to work for Hastinapur, and this meant spending a lot of time together, in each other's presence only.

"Parihar." (Leave us alone.) Raj Mata Satyavati says, once they enter the kitchen. All the maids in there, bow their head at the royals that were in there, before walking out of the royal kitchen.

"You guys should talk for a while, me and Deva, will prepare the Kheer, till then." Raj Mata Satyavati directs, dragging her step- son Bishma away.

"Of Course, Dadi!" Prince Karn says, as the others nod at the boy's statement.

"Dada Karn, Badi Bon, this is Dushala. The gurukul friend I told you about." Subhadra speaks up first. "And Dushala this is Dada Karn and Badi Bon."

She had been waiting to introduce the two most important people in her life to her best friend since a long time.
She had taken her best friend's ear by talking about them. And was excited for the introduction.

"Pranipatra." (Greetings.) Dushala joins her hands and greets the two people in front of her. Of course, she did that; one was her uncle while the other eldest princess of Dwarka. Dushala had to give her respects.

"None of that, Dushi." Prince Karn says as he pulls the princess in a hug. "You are Subhi's friend. You are like a sister to me."
The surprised girls hug her uncle- who- considered- her- a sister closely, feeling content in the hug. She loved this hug; it had a promise of protection in it, made her comfortable in all sense.

"Stop hogging, my sister." Princess Ananya says as she pushes Karn away and pulls Princess Dushala in a hug.
The young girl is speechless, at the occurring but hugs the other princess back. Feeling like a young child in her mother's embrace.

Once the greetings are done, Princess Dushala turns to Princess Subhadra, "What does 'Dada' and 'Badi Bon' mean?" She questions.

"'Dada' means elder brother and 'Badi Bon' means elder sister." Princess Subhadra shrugs, as she answers her friend.

"And you will also call us that, or else we will not listen to you." Karn says in a stern tone and Dushala nods her head franticly, not wanting to disappoint him. Which makes the two sisters laugh loudly.

"He is still the same, is he not?" Maha Mahim Bishma notes, looking at the four laughing kids.

"Yes." Raj Mata Satyavati nods, now looking up at them. "And now my family is complete, once again."

"What about those back in the room?" Maha Mahim Bishma questions.

"Aditya is here, right. Everything will be fine." Raj Mata Satyavati says confidently. And Maha Mahim Bishma hums in understanding.

One thought roams in their head as they look at the four giggling kids. 'Our family is really complete.'
