 Third POV 

-- 13 hours before the disaster-- 

"Mata Amba." Princess Subhadra grabbed the lady and pulled her in a hug. 
"What are you saying? Please say it clearly. What happened to Badi Bon?" 

"She was kidnapped." Lady Amba cries.
And everyone stares at the lady in various degrees of shock.

"How is that possible?" Princess Dushala was the first one to recover and question Lady Amba about it.

"The fruits, they were drugged." Lady Amba replies. "We got them as gift."

"How come she did not realise about it?"

Lady Amba looked at Karn for a few moments, before she spoke, "Neither you nor her are in the best state of yourselves. You have not had anything since morning, neither did she. Both of you hurt yourselves more than you hurt each other, with these fights. Yet you fight, however much I have tried to stop it all these years. Do you really think she was really paying attention to the fact as to what she was having, after fighting you?"

"You are making me look like a villain." Prince Karn whines. "Anyways, who dared to kidnap her?"

"Do you really need to ask it?" Lady Amba looked done with Prince Karn and his seeming idiotic, un- ending questions.

"Dam that Panav!" Prince Karn cursed before a mask settled on his face.
Every emotion that had been their on his face till a second ago was now gone. He seemed to have composed himself.

"I will go find her and bring her back." Prince Karn says.
His tone was firm and there was no emotion in his words. He seemed calm, too calm for anyone's liking in the room.

"I will come with you." Ashwatthama says, surprising everyone in the room.
When everyone stares at him, he questions, "What? He needs help, I am ready to help him. Also, none of you know forests like I do."

"I think, I can help you there too." Yuyutsu quipus softly from where he stood half hidden behind Prince Duryodhana. "I practically live in the forest."

Prince Karn looks at the two of them, there was a small smile on his face but it did not reach his eyes. His eyes were emotionless, nearly heartless.

"Adi!" Raj Mata Satyavati speaks up suddenly. "What are you doing?"

"Dadi?" Prince Karn turns to his grand- mother. "What are you saying?"

"I am asking about your plan." Raj Mata Satyavati moves closer to her grand- son. "Should you really be going looking for her at this time?"

"We all know who was behind all this, Dadi." Prince Karn says. "I do not think it would be very good to stay back and not do anything about it."

Raj Mata Satyavati sighs, "I am not stopping you from going, Adi. I care for her too. I am worried about her, too. But I do not want any one of you to be hurt."
She gives a pointed look to Ashwatthama and Yuyutsu.
