Third POV

All the Pandeva's along with Duryodhana, Dushassan, Vikarna and Ashwatthama had gathered in a secluded part of the palace.

Not many seemed happy to be there but they were gathered together to discuss what they were supposed to think and do of their so called 'uncle.' Who also happens to be the eldest prince of Hastinapur now.

And being only seven years elder than the Prince's themselves, he could easily get the throne of Hastinapur after the current King- Maharaj Dhritarashtra.

"What do you guys think, about all this?" Ashwatthama questions.
He knew that if he does not speak up, everyone will continue to sulk or not talk at all.

Princes of Hastinapur, my foot!
They are a bunch of immature kids!

"I for once think, he will make a fine king." Sehdev says.
When everybody gives him looks of disbelief, he raises an eyebrow in question.

"What?" He questions. "Do you guys not agree?"

"We are here to discuss, how we can get the throne." Dushassan points out.

"What is the need?" Sehdev questions back.
"Tell me, Bhrata Duryodhana, Jyeshta, are you guys ready to take the burden that comes with the throne? The power? The responsibility?"

Everyone was silent. All of them wondering what to say exactly.
It was not like anyone knew what to think exactly of this whole thing.

No. Yudhishthira wanted to say. But how can I? Everyone has so much expectation from me. They want me to be the most just and right king of Hastinapur. How can I deny it? This is my dharma, right?

Woah! Where did they even get this idea from? I do not actually want the throne. That is just Mama Shree! Duryodhana thinks, but then again, he could not even voice his thought. What would the Pandeva's think of me?

"Maha Mahim said that he had nothing to do with the throne." Vikarna points out, hesitantly. He did not know how they would react.

"Why do we have to care about it?" Nakul asks.

"Aey! You cannot dump everything on one guy, when it is not his shit to deal with." Ashwatthama protests. "How do you know that he will accept it all?"

"It is his duty!" Sehdev argues.

"How do you know that?" Vikarna questions. He continues on without waiting for them to reply to his question.
"Since, childhood he was raised and told that he would not be the king. And suddenly one day you want to dump all the shit on him?"

"Exactly," Ashwatthama nods along, "You were raised to be the King still you are not ready, he never even thought about it, how do you think he will feel about this all? Is it not wrong for him?"
