═════ Chapter thirty-nine ═════

"Are you sure?" Chanyeol asked. You looked at the picture again and felt that you have seen her before. "I really don't know.. could you tell me about her?"

Chanyeol looks at Irene then back to look at you. "She's Myoui Mina, I don't know a lot of your stories but all I know is she's your girlfriend." He said.

You gulped. "Girlfriend..? But Lucas said, he's the only one that I've been in relationship with."

Irene did not say a word.

"Then he is lying. You two never been in a relationship before.. After all, he hit you which made you lose your memories." He said that without thinking.

Irene looked at him with wide eyes. Chanyeol didn't seem to care about what he said. "He did what?" You walked up to him.

Irene placed her hand on your shoulder. "Calm down, Y/N-" You looked at her. "Calm down? We went here to do what? Tell me lies?" You ask.

"Lucas has planned all of this before. He.. you got hit by a car and he's the one who did it.. you were pregnant that time." Irene said, looking down.

"You're lying.. wait, wait.. what happened to the.. baby?"

"He killed it."

You didn't know what to say. You look down as tears started to fall to your cheeks. "That's why he doesn't want me to know anything about my past."

You look at Irene. "You didn't tell me this? I could've left him sooner.. not like this." Your head started to hurt. You grab onto Irene's arm and almost fell but she catches you. She sat you down in the chair.

"Are you okay?" She asks.

"No.. my head hurts." You replied.

Mina is resting in her bed. She's alone in her big luxury apartment. She sighs as she daydreams about the things she'll do once she finds you. She kept wishing.

She feels like a girl wishing on her birthday.

She stood up and look out of her floor-to-ceiling window as she looks down. A nice view of the buildings.

"I've given you chance, Sana. If you ever change your mind. You can go to my apartment."

Mina handed her a piece of paper, the address of her apartment. Sana stared at the paper and then watch Mina get in her car.

She went to the kitchen to make herself food. As she cooks in the kitchen, she hears her phone ringing. Her phone is on the couch. She went to grab it.

Chanyeol is calling her.

She answers it and puts it on speaker, then heads back to the kitchen. She placed her phone on the kitchen counter. "Hello, ma'am." She heard Chanyeol.

"Yes, what do you want?" Mina asked.

"We are going to your place later. I'll message you when we're already in there." Chanyeol said and wait for any response from Mina. Mina grabs her phone.

"Alright." She hummed then ended the call.

"What's your plan?" Irene asks.

"I will bring her to my boss, you know how crazy she is for her." Chanyeol said as he looks on the couch. You were eating an apple, alone. Chanyeol look at her.

"Didn't you say you knew Y/N for a long time, but you didn't tell me how you two met." Chanyeol said.

"I met her because of Lucas and didn't know he has been planning something with her. He's been stalking her for a very long time now." Irene laughs.

Chanyeol chuckled. "I have a question." Irene hummed.

"Do you like that girl?" He asked.

"No."

[ time skip ]

Mina sighs, sitting down on the couch and watch TV. She stared at the TV screen. She looks tired and doesn't want to live anymore. "Ah, fuck." She mumbled.

"Come out, come out, where ever you are~"

"No, please, I'm already in love with someone and we have a child together, please, stop the madness."

"Child? Oh, darling. If you don't want to be with me then I'll kill that child. I'll do anything to have you mine again and we will have a family together."

"AH! Fuck you and your stupid child, Sana!" Mina screams so loudly and grips her hair. She throws the remote control at the TV. She stood up.

"She's supposed to be mine, you motherfucker!" She screamed and grabs the TV, throwing it on the floor.

She holds her head and punches the wall, again and again until her knuckles are bleeding. "Shit." She muttered under her breath as she looks at her knuckles.

She hears a doorbell. She looks at the front door and grabs her phone. Chanyeol already messages her. She didn't notice. She walked to the door then open it.

Chanyeol is standing by the door. Mina tilted her head. "You're here. You know I don't like people going to my place." She smiles.

"You might get interested in this, boss." Chanyeol turns around. Mina's eyes widen and smiles, Chanyeol stepped backward to get Mina a view of you.

You hold Irene's hand, you were feeling unsure about this. Mina noticed this. "Let her go." She said sternly as she stares at Irene's and your hand.

"She's feeling scared, that's why I am holding her hand." Irene said.

"Shit.. I'll get killed."

"I said let her go." She walked up to Irene but Chanyeol grab her. Irene let your hand go. You stepped away from them and stared at Mina, who's still throwing words at Irene as Chanyeol holds her in place.

"Let me go." Mina pushes him away.

She looks at you and walked up to you. You stood still and didn't know what to do. "Honey, you're back home." She hugs you tightly.

"I miss you so much."
