"Hey, baby," The girl with cat-like eyes greeted as she planted a kiss on her sleepy fiancé's nape. The blonde girl hummed in response, turning around to face the cat-eyed girl and returning the kiss on the lips. "Good morning," She smiled.

"I made breakfast for my pretty girl," The cat-eyed girl announced.

"Jennie, you're so sweet," The blonde giggled, pinching Jennie's cheeks affectionately. The two of them had left South Korea, leaving everything behind, and now resided in their own cozy home in New Zealand. Jennie had designed and decorated the house just for the two of them.

Jennie picked up the breakfast tray from the nightstand. Rosé thanked her fiancé once again, giving her a bright smile.

Jennie blushed, still unable to believe that the woman in front of her now belonged to her. In the past, she had fought hard just to be near her.

"Let's go out for lunch later. I heard a new restaurant opened yesterday," Jennie suggested. Rosé looked at her and smiled. "Yeah, sure," The blonde replied before continuing to enjoy her breakfast.

"I'm going to take a shower. I'll be back," Jennie informed Rosé, who nodded in response. She left the room, making her way through the living room towards the bathroom.

However, just as she was about to enter, she heard her phone ringing. Letting out a groan, she turned back, picking up her phone from the living room.

The caller ID showed an unknown number.

"Hello, who's this?" Jennie asked, but no one responded.

"Who is this?" She repeated, her impatience growing. However, the call abruptly ended without any answer. Just as Jennie was about to put down her phone, a message popped up, catching her attention. She opened it curiously.

Roseanne is mine, remember that, Jennie Kim.

You stared at her in disbelief, your face displaying shocked confusion. You blinked repeatedly, desperately attempting to convince yourself that this couldn't be true.

Standing before you was your best friend, Miyeon, or so it appeared. Yet, as you focused your vision back on her, there was no denying it – it really was Miyeon.

"Surprised? Well, every movie has that much-anticipated dramatic reveal, and I couldn't resist doing the same," Miyeon smirked, clearly reveling in the element of surprise.

"Your sister accepted her fate, just let her be." You retorted, glaring at Miyeon in defiance. Her response was an unsettling laughter, growing louder with each passing moment, echoing throughout the room.

Suddenly, she abruptly turned, only to swiftly retrieve a knife from her pocket and press it firmly against your neck. The blade dug deeper, causing a shiver of fear and pain to course through you. "Why does everyone assume Mina accepted her fate? Do you truly know her?" She hissed.

Then a moment of silence, you couldn't answer her question.

"She told me everything about you. How you made her happy, how she would go above and beyond for you," Miyeon's voice trembled with fury as she recalled her sister's words, her clenched teeth betraying her anger.

"Fuck, she even worshipped you as if you were her god."

A deafening silence enveloped the room, the weight of those words sinking into your soul. The memories of your past with Mina remained elusive, lost to you.

Yet, even without the recollection, the mere mention of her feelings for you left you feeling repulsed by your former self. How could you have fallen in love with Mina?

"It was all too easy to get close to you, Y/N. Truly," Miyeon declared, stepping back and retracting the knife, though she positioned herself to trap you between the chair's armrests. Her face inched closer to yours, her eyes locked with yours, daring you to remember.

"Do you recall the rumors about your brother?" Miyeon's question hung in the air, causing a lump to form in your throat.

The police had informed you of those very rumors.

"I was the one who killed him," she whispered, the pain evident in her voice. "He was my ex-boyfriend," Her voice quivered.

"But he cheated on me," She continued bitterly.

"I gave everything to him, protected him, and loved him. I genuinely thought he was the one, but he turned out to be just another asshole." Miyeon's laughter pierced the air, infuriating you.

In a fit of rage, you struck her face with your forehead, causing her to stumble and fall to the floor. "Don't you dare speak about my brother like that."

"What the fuck?!" Miyeon growled, her anger flaring.

"Teach her a lesson." She commanded, rising to her feet. The person behind Sana obeyed, seizing her and delivering a hard punch, Sana was helpless and writhing in pain.

Wide-eyed, you stared at the scene, unable to bear her suffering. "Stop it!" You shouted desperately.

Miyeon grasped your chin firmly, forcing you to meet her cold gaze before slapping you across the face. "Hurt me, and I'll kill her." She taunted.

Your glare pierced through her, yet she remained oblivious, smirking proudly at her cruel accomplishments.

"Enough," Miyeon commanded.

"For now, take your time to process everything. When you're ready, we will talk." She turned her to the masked person, instructing them further. "Tend to her wounds and confine them to a room. Let me know when she's prepared for a talk." With that, she walked away, leaving the room in silence.

You and Sana found yourselves alone in a room, surrounded by an overwhelming sense of awkwardness. Both of you sat at a distance from each other, with Sana positioned on the right side of the room and you on the left.

Sana couldn't help but gaze at you intently, her longing to embrace you tightly as if there were no tomorrow evident in her eyes. She yearned to be enveloped by your scent, seeking solace in your presence.

"What are you looking at?" you asked, breaking the silent tension, causing Sana to quickly avert her gaze, her cheeks flushing with a hint of embarrassment.

"When I heard you scream like that, it felt as if it was your first time getting in pain," You chuckled, making a lighthearted joke. Sana glanced back at you, relief flooding her senses as she heard the comforting sound of your laughter.

Her heart began to race once again, captivated by the familiarity and warmth it brought.

"Your parents were devastated when they heard the news of your supposed death," You stated, your gaze fixed on Sana. For a brief moment, the two of you locked eyes, silently understanding the depth of the situation.

"Everyone believed you were gone," You continued, your eyes averting from her as if overwhelmed by the weight of the past.

As you observed Sana's movements, you noticed her attempting to bridge the gap between you, even though slowly and with evident pain from the prior beating. Limping closer, she took a seat beside you.

"I'm here now. For you," She whispered, her words carrying a heartfelt promise that resonated in the room.
