═══ Chapter fifty-one ; ❝ No one gets peace ❞ ═══

You heard footsteps coming outside the door and you let out a deep breath. The door opened, revealing her with handcuffs and two guards guiding her behind.

You watched her as she sits on the chair, her eyes staring at yours as if you did something to her while the guards chained her arms on the table so she wouldn't escape or go near you.

I hope that'll keep her there.

"How are you, baby?" Her voice. It's still the same just like before. It didn't change. "I'm fine." You answered. Just ask about Sana so you can leave.

"It's been a long time since we've seen each other. You become even beautiful. I hope you still taste th-"

"Shut it. I'm not here to talk about those. I wanna know about.. Sana." Her expression changed after mentioning her name. Her eyes says rage as you look at her in the eyes, which made you tremble.

"How dare you bring that bitch's name when we're talking!" She gritted her teeth and raised her arms and slammed it back down on the table.

You flinched. "Can't we just be normal couples and leave that girl's name out of our life?" She asked lovingly.

"We're not a couple, Mina. We never did."

She laughs about it and tilts her head.

"We never did? How about our child that you choose to hide it from me? I bet our child reminds you of me. Oh, I hope you do." She grinned. Her smile makes you tremble, everyone doesn't know how creepy she is when she does it.

"I just wanna know about Sana and how she died. That's why I'm here." You said, trying to calm her down. She did calm down a bit and you watched her as she relaxed in her seat.

"You broke my heart, honey. I really thought you were here because of me." She smirked at you and looked at her chained wrist. Long awkward silence in the room, it was weird for her to not talk.

Five minutes later, she decided to talk.

"She ate something that caused her to die in her cell. I don't know what food she ate before that happened and somebody told me that she was poisoned. Her mouth was covered with white substance-" Mina looked at you.

"But I didn't kill her, if you are that curious."

She continues her story. "A officer came to her cell with a tray of food in her hand. Her cell is just across mine but I didn't have a good look at that officer, but you know the weird thing is?" She moved closer like she was scaring a person. "Sana got her food first, it wasn't even lunch time yet."

Mina placed her back against the chair and smiled.

"When Sana wasn't responding to the officer's calls through the door. More officers came and checked up on her. That's when they confirmed that YOUR Minatozaki Sana is dead."

She stared deep into your eyes. "I told you everything. I want to see my child if we get to meet again." She said, not leaving that devilish smile on her face. You stood up, you were having second thoughts whether to believe her story or not.

"Thank you for telling me. I'll be going now." You said, grabbing your things in your seat. Mina stood up also and wanted to get closer to you but her chained wrist stopped her. "Wait, before you go-"

"Can you please give me a kiss?" She gave you puppy eyes.

You stared at her. "I can't do that, I'm sorry." You apologize and leave the room. You hear her yelling your name and whining like a little kid. After leaving the room, officers entered. You sighed, couldn't believe that Sana is dead.

You get in the taxi and hear a notification on your phone. You grabbed your phone in your shoulder bag and looked at the text.

I heard you went to visit Mina.

How does it feel to see her again?

Weird?

In love?

Disgusted?

Are you there just to be a whore again?

You clenched your teeth, thinking of a word to reply to her but it was a waste of time for that so you just replied to her messages about what you wanna say for a long time.

At least, I'm not a little scaredy cat like you who hides behind this stupid number

"This person finally shut up for once." You mumbled, putting your phone back to your shoulder bag. You looked out the window, thinking of what gift you want to give to your daughter when you visit your parents again.

"I hate this girl, so fucking much!" A woman screamed throwing her phone on the floor. She stood up and left the room with rage, her face was red with rage as she walked down the stairs in the mansion.

She walked to the living room where another woman was sitting on the couch, relaxing herself from her hard work for today. She opens her eyes and sees her boss.

"Irene! Where are the others?!"
