Lucifer gasps in pain as his body slams into the wall behind him, and he crumples to the ground, pain throbbing throughout his entire body. Blood drips from his mouth, and a steady red line streams from his nose, dripping down his chin and creating a red stain on his blue shirt. Pain spikes his throat as he swallows, his head rolling. The small room blurs in his vision, and he struggles to focus as Gabriel strides over.

"What the hell? He roars, appearing in front of Lucifer in seconds, reaching down and grabbing him, lifting him high into the air. Gabriel's usually warm brown eyes blaze at Lucifer, now filled with hatred and anger. "Why are you with Sam?" He hisses, eyes flashing briefly with hurt, and Lucifer laughs.

"Jealous?" He croaks, then gasps as Gabriel throws him across the room, slamming him into the rectangular kitchen table in the middle of the room. Lucifer falls to the ground, crying in silent pain as the breath is knocked from his body.

"Watch the furniture!" Balthazar frets, appearing next to Gabriel and groaning. "I just bought that table!"

"Why, Lucifer?' Gabriel shouts, ignoring Blathazar completely. "Why now, of all times! We were brought back from the dead to protect Scarlet, not to hook up with the Winchester's! What are you thinking!" Gabriel snarls, anger racking his entire body, his legs shaking.

"Because I love him." Lucifer responds, shakily standing and facing Gabriel in open defiance, cracking his back. "I'm not the only one who hooked up with a Winchester! Why aren't you angry at Cas? He's with Dean!" Lucifer complains, holding back a sob of pain.

"Maybe because I know that I can trust Castiel to make the right decisions, Lucifer. But you?" He laughs, disgust creasing his face. "I can't leave you alone for more than two seconds before you're in some kind of trouble, and Cas, Balthy and I have to swoop in and save your sorry ass. Anybody in their right mind would've abandon you years ago, Lucifer... And why have I tried to keep you safe? Because your my brother, and family means something to me. But we can't even trust you to keep your priorities straight!" Gabriel shouts back, absolutely pissed.

"Gabriel... Please. Calm down." Balthazar cautiously suggests to Gabriel, placing a careful hand on the younger Angel's shoulders, fear glistening in his eyes. Gabriel takes in a deep breath and nods his head, walking forward and slumping onto the couch, closing his eyes. "Lucifer, please sit." Balthazar sighs, and Lucifer jumps on top of the table, sitting down cross-legged on it, wincing in pain but keeping his eyes locked on Gabriel, who sits only a few mere feet in front of him.

"Thanks for trying so damn hard to kill me." Lucifer snorts at Gabriel, who just flashes him a smirk.

"Boys, stop it now! Why are you two fighting anyways?" Balthazar sighs, placing himself between the two angry Angel's, keeping them separated.

"Gabriel can't get over the fact that I'm with Sam." Lucifer says with a roll of his eyes. Gabriel opens his mouth to speak, then closes it, glancing away from the two people in front of him.

"What is it?" Balthazar asks, looking over at Gabriel, and Lucifer just raises his eyebrows. Gabe takes in a deep breath and looks at Lucifer, helpless.

"Lucifer.." he whimpers, his voice barely audible. His eyes tear up, and he looks away from Lucifer. "I... I love Sam, too..." He finally says, tears beginning to stream down his cheeks. Balthazar backs away from his brothers and sighs, shock reflecting in his face and eyes.

"No! No you don't!" Lucifer growls, balling his fists and jumping off of the table, approaching Gabriel. "He's mine." He adds, his voice hiding threats. Gabriel gasps in shock as Lucifer's fist connects with his cheek, then spits out blood, placing a hand on his now throbbing face.
