𝓦𝓱𝓪𝓽 𝓐 𝓑𝓮𝓪𝓾𝓽𝔂 || 𝓚.𝓡𝓮𝓷𝓰𝓸𝓴𝓾

𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐄𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭

We soon arrived to the final selection. There, were beautiful flowers everywhere. I think they were called Westria flowers by their looks

We then started walking up the stairs. while walking, I felt a tingling filling and an urge to put on my mask. I forgot that it's not common for people here in Japan to see a colored black person. Not to mention, they might be racist they might be not.

"Nèe-san you smell worried, are you okay?"

Turning to Tanjiro I shook my head "I'm fine Tanjiro, I just hope we both make it out safe that's all, but anyway we have arrived"

There were a lot of teenagers. They looked around Tanjiro's age. All with serious expressions.

There were also two other girls. One with white hair and the other black with a Westria flower hairpin on the other side of their hair. "We thank you for coming here tonight, you'll need to survive here for seven days to pass the final selection" They both said

'Seven days...that's too long, I hope sensei will be okay without us' I thought to myself

"Nèe-san..." The look on Tanjiro's face was serious but it also had a little worry in them too

"Yes Tanjiro, I know what we have to do" I already knew that we'll have to separate. Not because we wanted to but because it will make us stronger

"Please stay safe. I don't want to lose you too née-san"

"I will, don't worry about me"

"Okay then, stay safe! Bye!" Tanjiro said before waving and running to the forest

"Bye Tanjiro" Smiling to myself I too began to run towards the forest

'I need to make my way where the sunlight hits first, I'll head east then'

Wile running, I felt like someone was following me so of course, I hid behind a tree and waited. Nothing happened but after a few seconds a demon came out.

"Come out, come out! I can smell your sweetness!"

'Great a demon. He can smell me from this far?'

Then it was dead silent. "Oh great, now he knows were I am...but were is he?"

"FOUND YOU!" The demon then jumped out of the tree, landing a few feet away from me

"It's been ages since I last had a nice meal!" He said charging at me

"Total concentration, Water breathing Forth form!" The demon head was sliced of leaving his body crumbling to dust

'I defeated a demon!' I thought to myself

I was happy for defeating a demon, thinking that I was actually moving forward, but then my happiness stopped when a nasty rotting smell kicked in my nose
