"Ding, Ding, Ding" pounded my alarm. Ugh this day is here already, it can't be! I don't want it to be! I want to still be in my dream world, full of magical fantasies and the only place where I can get a break! Today is the day that I will be forced to say goodbye to the coolest guy I know, the guy that knows more about me than I do, the guy that will be going off to college and leaving this crazy messed up world behind. I don't want him to go. If he leaves I'm forced to put up with all the bitches and the drama all by myself, with no one to talk to. Sure, there are phones but that's nothing like looking into his beautiful eyes and seeing his adorable dimples pop when I mention just how stupid those girls can be. "Emmy, come down here" my mother shouted from the bottom of the stairs, she seems to always know how to pull me away from my stressful thoughts, which I love. "Comingggg" I shouted back. When I got to the bottom of the stairs I had a letter waiting on me it read: "Emmy, meet me at the park tonight at 9. Much Love, Cody". That's just like Cody to send something so out of the blue instead of a simple text message, something most boys wouldn't understand which makes saying bye to Cody even harder.

*** (Hours Later)

"Emmy I'm off to work, have fun" my mom called from the kitchen. "Okay Mom, you too" I said back. Ever since my mom and dad split my mom has had to take up two shifts.

Which makes it hard on both of us but with my crazy school schedule there's nothing much I can do to help. I watched the clock like a hawk, not wanting the time to pass but at the same time begging it to just so I could see his face. At 8:30 I left my house and headed towards the park which was only down the street but I couldn't wait any longer! When I got there he was already waiting on me, which is not surprising. "Well looky there someone's actually on time" Cody jokingly remarked. "Hey Codes" I sharply said back. I really wasn't into the joking mood at the moment even though I did want to hear him laugh so bad. So bad I forced my hands to his stomach attempting to tickle him, knowing that he's not ticklish, it still made him smile which was enough to give me chills. How can one human being be so breath taking? It would take me a million years to find a flaw on his beautifully chisled face! "Wanna sit?" He chuckled. "I'd love too" I smirked back. I felt so comfortable around Cody like I could do anything or tell him anything and he would love me through it. "You ready to loose me?" He mocked. "Never in a million years would I be ready for that" I honestly stated back. "Woah, you really love me don't you" he smirked "Maybe" I laughed at how oblivious he was to my love for him. He really didn't know! Cody has been my best friend since first grade, we were practically family, but I've always loved him more than anyone in the world. He makes me weak in my stomach which is a very uneasy feeling but I would never change it. "You won't loose me forever you know, you'd never loose me" Cody said "I appreciate that but promise me one thing" I said "what" he grinned "don't get a girl pregnant" I said joking. We laughed together not looking away. I guess he liked seeing me laugh just as much as I liked him seeing him. "No worries, I have a full supply in the trunk" he said with a wink. I laughed because I knew he was joking. His dad probably checked him up and down, he wouldn't let Cody bring anything like that! While our laughing calmed down we heard a yell in the distance coming from a big black car, it was Cody's dad, I hope it wasn't time yet. "Codyyyy" they yelled. "Be right back" he said to me with a faint smile.

Cody was standing at the car for what felt like forever but the time suddenly slipped my mind when a big black figure came out of nowhere. I had no time to scream before I was dragged to a big sleek vehicle in the back of the park.
