Chapter 4: first day of school

It's been a couple days since registration day and today Is the first day of school I'm kinda nervous because it's a new school and I don't know anyone but I'm in my senior year so I'm almost done with high school and I can start thinking of things to do
It is 7:30 am and I need to be in school by 8:30
I have around an hour so let do it

Paloma started getting ready she went to take a shower did her makeup and changed she was done and it was 8:10 am she went down stairs to her mom and tell her good morning

Mom: how did you sleep
Paloma: I slept good

Paloma: what did you make for breakfast

It was 8:20 I had 10 minutes to get to school im totally gonna be late what a good way to make a first impression

I just got to school it's 8:35 I'm 5 minute late to home room as I was getting inside the building I saw my classroom I knocked and the teacher opened it and said come in I slowly walk in and look at the teacher the Teacher told me she was gonna excuse this tardy because it was the first day of classes I told her thank you and she told me to go sit but as I was looking there was no available seat until I saw one in the back next to one of Jonathan friends I started walking towards him and he looked up at me and smiled I smiled back and sat down
The teacher started introducing herself and said her name what will be learning in her class and the rules and other stuff

???: my name is ulices
Paloma: oh hi nice to meet you
Ulices: what is your name beautiful

It was the end of homeroom and my next class is science in room 1109
Ulices: so what class you got next
Paloma: I have science what about you
Ulices: aww we don't have the same class I have history

I was walking to my science class when I saw Jonathan I was just gonna walk past but he stopped me and said

I was getting to my science class I walked in an sat near the back and got on my
Phone and I realized that my mom had texted me and she said she's was gonna pick me up early because we are going car shopping and she want me to go she told me she was gonna be here in 20 min

The teacher was in the middle of her explaining something when the class phone ring I knew it was my mom so I started packing I saw the teacher had hung up already and she said
Ms. Martínez : Paloma your going home

I was walking out the door to go to the front office as I was walking I decide to stop in my locker to get the books I needed to take home i started walking again and as I enter the front office i see my mom I say bye to the lady in the front office we walked out and my mom got a taxi we went
To the closest dealer ship and my mom wanted a truck as we where getting closer my mom spotted a truck that she wanted and she fell in love with it she gave it a test drive and she loved it and decided to get it. As we where walking away I saw car that I liked and I wanted to see it I told my mom and she said I could look I went to look at it and I fell in love with it but I knew I couldn't have it so I didn't even tell my mom but my mom must of seen how excited I was that she asked me if I wanted it and I told her no but she gave me that mom look and i said yes
She said she would get it for me for my birthday which was next month and I hugged her and
I cried because this was something big this is my
First car my mom was signing the paper work and we got both cars and left I was driving mine and I felt so happy we got home and it was dark already so I decided to go take a shower and go to sleep when I got out I laid down and thought about the day and how excited I was
