"Love, it never dies. It never goes away, it never fades, so long as you hang on to it. Love can make you immortal"

Epilogue-2

ARJUN

As I neared the door, I paused for a moment realizing the way I was sneaking up to my parent's room.

I fully trust them of course but 'how could I miss my kids living under the same roof, even if held them just last night'. It was true though, I have to see them as soon as my morning begins. Although the previous moments in bed literally glowed my mood, let's keep those memories aside Arjun.

Anyways here I was, minimizing sound of my footing moving across the carpet. I look over my shoulder hearing the sound of shuffling, mom sleepily glances at me. I give her a sheepish smile, she shakes her head gesturing me to go ahead and lie back down.

'Urgh! It was embarrassing.'

"Can't even wait for couple of hours and has the audacity to deny he doesn't behave like a mother hen for our grandchildren," dad mutters sleepily.

I bang my fist to forehead, feeling warmness tint my ears. A slobbery chuckle grabs my attention, I sigh seeing my son peaking from the edge of the crib wide awake. His movements awakens my little girl as well, she huffs with an adorable pout.

"You are truly little monster, already."

With practiced ease I lift them in my arms quickly moving out of the room ignoring their amused chuckles. In the second hall, I set them on soft carpet rushing back to our room, in minutes the floor was covered in thick blankets, few throw pillows, some stuffed toys as I was sure they wouldn't go to sleep any time soon.

Ah, I'd have to feed them with a snack so their eating times doesn't disturb. For Aradhya I prepared half bottle of milk knowing she'd still have appetite later. It was risky giving a half a banana to my little monster, I was proved right with the amount of mess he made. He was banging his palm in the mashed banana goo, getting himself dirty as well as blankets.

"You're supposed to eat, yaar not smear your face like those baby creams your ma applies!" At my exasperated tone, Aarav gives me a toothless smile, in fact extending his palm as an offering.

Playfully squinting my eyes, I reach but Aaradhya swiftly shields him puffing her cheeks showing her displeasure. She totally acts on her role of elder sister even it's only with seven and half minutes. Her brother pretending innocent leans on her, from side seeing with clear mischief in his eyes that are similar to mine.

Our kids were odd combination, Aarav shares more of my features, his behavior reflects like Meera. My daughter is physically like her mother but god, the little girl has an attitude challenging an adult.

I could already picture us being handful with variety of situation with these two monsters.

"My lady don, siding with your brother over your own father!" saying this I tackle them both, being gentle with my movements.

The room echo with their heartfelt squeals, ignoring the mess of banana and milk, I smother their cushiony bodies with kisses, blowing raspberries erupting them into giggles which makes me laugh.

"Papaaa!!!" they screech, climbing on my body. No matter how many times I hear, my heart skips beats whenever they address me.

I tighten my hold to grasp their slippery bodies, sometimes they hurt themselves badly.

There is no feeling like helplessness if you can't soothe your children's pain. I had to experience on their period doses of vaccines. After sometime, they each settle on one side, I wrap the blanket around trying my best not to think of banana mesh on side of my face or my tee having patches of milk or their slobbery saliva on my face as they attempted to kiss my bearded cheeks.
