SKY's POV
I was transferred to class A. I'm completely clueless about the backgrounds of my classmates. I know the school, of course. It was definitely a dream school for me and the special people I know. Not even a single person in the room is familiar, that's why I think it's hard to get close to these folks. Our teacher, Ms. Rivera, helped us get to know each other.
"Good afternoon, Miss! I am Aster Mavis Laxamana, and my hobby is watching and playing basketball. That's all. It's nice to meet you po." Napalingon pa ako sa lalaking katabi ko.
Laxamana? Do I know him? He seems so familiar.
"Ay wait Mr. Aster, how are you related to Doctora Kiara Laxamana?" Ms. Rivera said.
"She's my mom po." he replied.
Nabigla ako sa narinig ko. So totoo nga, siya 'yun! He grew up so well. Kilala ko yung mom niya since she's a friend ng dati naming pamilya. Yep, dati since wala na rin naman akong parents. What I mean is, my mom died from cancer. Right after she's gone, nagkaroon agad ng bagong kinakasama si dad. And hindi ko gusto ang ugali niya, she has no place in our family and I will never treat her the same way as my mom.
So I flew back to the Philippines to pursue my dreams with my own feet. I can do everything without being told by someone what things I should do. Although nagpromise siya na magsustain ng financial needs ko, I still don't care. My mom left me a lot.
"Oh I see. Swerte ko naman, estudyante ko pala yung anak niya. By the way, siya yung OB Gyne ko doon sa bunso ko." Ms. Rivera explained.
"Ikumusta mo ko sa kanya mamaya ha?"
"Sure po, Miss."
"Thank you Mr. Laxamana. Okay next— Oh wait! Are you a transferee?" nabigla pa ako nung ako na ang tinuro niya.
