Loud siren noises echoed through my ears, panic spreading around the campus and people wondering why there was such a close sound nearby. I immediately contacted Yejun through the radio asking her if she knew who had their siren on.
"Yejun, what's happening?!" I tried my best to keep it quiet, looking at her confused. She shrugged also seeming befuddled.
"I don't know!" She replied instantly "I contacted the central over the radio, and they told me it wasn't any of the assigned agents for today"
A frustrated sigh escaped my lips as I grabbed the small radio hidden inside my pocket and clicked the button to turn it on.
"Badge 56434 calling dispatch, where are these sirens coming from?"
"56434, We just received a code 4 next to that area, immediate backup was requested. Patrols are heading to Citibank Korea"
So, is this just a coincidence? What a bad timing...
"You fucking set me up, bitch!"
My eyes quickly followed to where an enraged shout came from the dangerous man as he quickly grabbed Y/N and pointed his gun at her back. My heart raced as I caught sight of Y/N in the grip of that lunatic, his gun pressed to her temple. Her terrified eyes locked on mine, silently pleading for help.
Y/N raised her hands in surrender, her voice steady but desperate. "I swear I didn't! The sirens aren't even coming this way!"
But there was not turning back now. Students around the campus started screaming and running away while some started to film from a distance, there was no way this would end up well.
Y/N's POV
"Liar!" The man's grip tightened, pressing the gun harder against your head. Hot and involuntary tears started spilling from your eyes as the situation you were in became felt more real and dangerous. Time began to slow down around you, a sensation your brain had created to make you feel like you had more control of the situation.
