The first thing Alex realized when she woke was that something smelled good. Still only half awake, she at least knew it was something she could eat and not the familiar scent of Steph who she would probably still bite if given the chance. Alex's eyes fluttered open, remembering Steph on her, but the weight was not there. Her eyes went wide and when she turned in the bed to look for Steph, there she was, staring right at her. Head propped up on her elbow while laying on her side, Steph looked very awake and she was not expecting the sight.
"Fuck," Alex exclaimed, both startled and in pain after her sudden movement.
"Shit, you okay?" Steph asked, her confident expression turning immediately to concern.
"Yeah..." Alex groaned out in her morning voice, a bit embarrassed at her panic.
"Sorry to scare you, but we got separated in our sleep. I didn't want to wake you up. Then I couldn't stop looking at you."
Her red deepened.
"Watching out for me?"
"Yeah, that too."
There was a pause and then Steph suddenly said, "Oh! Hold on. You're so distracting I almost forgot."
How is she so flirty so early? I guess who knows how long she's been up...staring at me. It'd be creepy if it was anyone else.
Steph threw the covers off of them both, then partially rose up in the bed as she shifted her leg over Alex. Steph ended up straddling her as she continued moving to the other side, grabbing the glasses resting still on the nightstand. They had been in a similar position once before. This time though, Steph was not shying from contact between their bodies besides the avoidance of pressure on her ribs. Alex lifted her head to better see her.
As she moved over toward the corner of the bed to grab the glasses, Steph's tank top hung open and Alex tried to look elsewhere, but her eyes kept darting back to the shadowy forms of Steph's breasts revealed for those few moments she took to grab the glasses. While she was still currently a bit visually impaired, Alex saw clear enough. Then she was watching as Steph leaned down and placed her glasses back on.
"Better?"
"Yeah. Much better," Alex answered, still very aware of Steph straddling her.
"Good," she replied, with her face so close she could faintly feel Steph's breath against her cheek.
Is that a minty smell? When did she...
But before she finished her thought, Steph rolled back off of her. Landing on her back, she turned in bed into her previous position, this time outside the covers and Alex couldn't help but look down her body. Steph's voice snapped her back to looking at her face.
"Hey, I'm going to scout out what my dad is cooking. Wish me luck on my stealth check."
She sat up and hopped off the bed. Alex stared at Steph's lower half for a moment while she was turned, then asked, "Going out like that?"
"Ew no. This show is for your eyes only," she said walking to her dresser. As she strode across, Steph pulled the back of her tank top up, exposing her entire underwear clad behind and lower back.
God damn Steph, you tease. Don't get me started already this early. I need a long long shower. And it won't be cold.
Steph let her shirt fall back down and reached the dresser. As she opened a drawer, she said, "You really think I'd walk out like this with my dad out there?"
She pulled out a pair of sweat pants and slipped them on.
Alex said, "Well. You can be pretty bold sometimes."
