Alex felt extra comfortable when she began to stir awake. She took in a deep breath and stretched out her body, but as she did, her hands raked across a form she was snuggled against. A hand ended up on Steph's stomach when Alex's eyes shot open.

I fucking did it again! What's wrong with me? I just become a dream molester in my sleep, shit...

As Alex was about to carefully remove herself, she heard Steph softly say, "Hey...guess you're awake now?"

Oh god...

"Uh...yup. Just now," she said, hoping that explained why she again was wrapped around Steph. She slowly moved her hand off of Steph's stomach and rolled away.

"Um, sor-"

"Gotta pee, be right back," she interrupted and popped off the bed.

Alex stared at her as she went, watching dumbstruck at Steph's lack of response to Alex being all over her again. Then her focus was on the taller girl's bare legs, scanning up and down before Steph disappeared into the bathroom.

She shook off the trance that Steph's lithe form put her in. I guess we're not talking about it. Or last night...maybe she didn't want to embarrass me, or maybe she feels awkward, but...she seemed pretty unconcerned and definitely was awake before me...

After she heard a flush, she stretched towards her glasses, groaning in pain before she reached them. She tried again, but still couldn't reach. A few seconds later as she tried to move herself closer, the bathroom door opened.

"Hey hey, don't strain yourself. I got this. It's why I'm here," Steph said as she appeared, lightly chastising her.

As she ran over to help, Steph's shirt rode up and Alex had to turn her head into her pillow before her eyes fell out of her head. When she looked again, Steph was handing her the glasses. Alex smiled and took them.

"Thanks."

"No problem," she replied, smiling back and slid down to the bottom of the bed before climbing in it, going just over Alex's legs. Time stopped for Alex when Steph's body hovered over her for a moment, and she imagined what it would be like if the older girl straddled her instead of continuing her lateral motion to the other side of the bed. Steph never touched her, but the image was enough to short circuit Alex's brain for a moment, especially with the addition of seeing plenty of exposure from Steph as she scrambled around getting under the covers.

"Sleep good?" Steph asked, propping herself up on an elbow.

"Uh..." Alex started out, dumbly.

Is she implying anything? I can't tell...

"Uh, yeah. Feels like it."

"Great, me too. So I don't have to head to the old salt mines for a few hours still. Did you just want to hang out here or did you want to do anything?"

"Honestly, I don't want to get out of bed yet."

"Sounds good to me," Steph said and flopped down all the way, with her head turned toward Alex on her pillow.

As she stared back at Steph for a second, Alex thought How long will I get to wake up to this face?

But then Steph spoke.

"So...what are..." Steph trailed off as her gaze went up just above Alex's eyes.

"Actually, hold on," Steph said as she reached across the bed to move Alex's hair aside.

"There we go."

Alex felt practically giddy at the touch that she was thought was reserved only to help her sleep. She blew at her hair to knock it down again.
