SapphirexJimin
* Jimin is a sociopath. Sapphire is sheltered/very naive
The sound of doors buzzing and clicking open is heard as she walks down the hall. Her heels click against the tile floors with each step that she takes. The inmates whistle and holler as she passes by.
"Aye, Miss Brimm, can I spare a moment of your time? I promise it won't take long, baby."
"Don't worry bout him, Miss. He ain't got enough equipment to handle all that ass you got. I do though."
"Can you guys shut up? Y'all do this every time she comes down here. Just fuck each other like usual and be quiet."
She looks at Hoseok and smiles. "Thank you."
He beams back with a shy grin. If she hadn't seen his criminal record, she'd think that he was the cutest thing.
Hell, who is she fooling? She still thinks so. Murdering of his parents aside, of course. Though that may be debatable. They were abusive and treated him poorly. She doesn't really blame the boy.
That, and the fact that he often dissociates into someone much younger than his current age, make his case a sad one. The system failed him. Sapphire take him home if she could. He deserves all the love in the world.
"Tell Mr. Park I said hello." He says quietly as she walks to the Level III security doors.
"You know that I will." She waves to him and he waves back before putting his head back and sitting on his bed. He grabs his Rubix cube. It'll be solved before she gets down this hallway.
"How are you today, Miss Brimm?"
"Good. You?" She looks to the guard as he escorts her down.
"Could be better. Still not taking me up on that date, are you?"
"You know that people shouldn't mix business with pleasure. My father says that it never ends well. Besides, I am a very busy woman. But you're a great work companion, Jessie." They get to the final door and he stops.
He's aware that Sapphire doesn't talk much to any of the people in the building. That's just why he likes her. She's quiet, she's shy. She minds her business. Only problem is that her father keeps eyes on her like a hawk. With him being the mayor of the city, he wants the utmost protection for his little girl.
Getting Sapphire out of his sight for a date would be like stealing a jeweled artifact out of the most heavily guarded museum in the country.
You might make it in but you'll never make it back out.
"He's been kind of quiet today." Jessie changes the subject as he always does after her dismissing rejection. "Don't know what that's about but I'm sure you'll figure it out. You sure you don't need one of us in there with you?" He questions, fearing for the safety of the young woman.
