Jimin sits in the middle of the area as he waits for the next stage set. He's been a very patient man, docile even. But some things just send him off his rocker. He's not sane in the least bit and he's never claimed to be. He's only ever 'normal' for Naomi. Well, her, the third to their relationship and the world of his day job.
"Are you sure that she's here? I haven't seen her at all yet."
Jimin clenches his jaw and cracks his knuckles. "Yes I'm sure. I'm positive, actually. Tank and Tory saw her earlier." His eyes scan the room as the lights change from blue to dark pink and white. The strippers come out and do what they do best, tease the money from men's pockets.
A job that Naomi herself is exceptionally good at. She's an ace in her field, a genius in her department. That is one of the reasons that it's infuriating to bet boyfriend that she's pulled this stunt.
"I hope you don't plan on punishing her, Jimin. That wouldn't be fair." Namjoon looks at his best friend and the man narrows an eye at him.
"Fair? I am the fair one. I let her do whatever she wants. I'm not the one with the bigger boundaries, you are. I'm surprised that you aren't just as upset as I am. You coddle her."
"And you've spoiled her rotten. You purposely created a brat and now you're upset that she's acting like one." Namjoon says as he stares back at him.
"Don't act like you didn't contribute to her attitude. This was a mutual decision. We could've sat down and talked about this but she wanted to be irrational. A trait picked up from you, no doubt."
"Let's not place blame. The reason that we're at this point is because of both of us. It's not her fault."
Jimin rolls his eyes at his words. 'Not her fault.' He understands that she has needs. He understands that one of these needs requires the attention of at least one of them. But he believes that this could have been settled through conversation. Naomi did not need to go as far as dancing at a new club.
She hadn't shown up to work for three nights. With Jimin being her boss, it was easy for him to notice that she were missing. The first night didn't worry him. He suspected she just didn't feel like coming. When he got home, she was there, dressed and ready for bed.
The second night, he thought that she were sick and decided to stay home. Namjoon didn't have to work that day so he texted him and asked him if she was feeling alright. When he responded saying that she told him she was leaving for work, Jimin knew something was up.
The third night, she had an attitude all day. She didn't want to be kissed, touched or anything else. She even declined Namjoon's invitation for a massage session, something that she would never miss. That is what put the nail in the coffin for both of her boyfriends.
