Prologue ---
There are some things you can't block out. no matter how hard you try, it will always sit at the back of mind waiting to drift back to you. That is why the images of my mother being torn to bits by those who were infected. The worst part is, I watched her suffer and squirm. Her muffled screams still haunted me.
Those memories were ones that I tried to remove, but eventually they crept into my mind, and they broke me.
And somewhere along the lines, everything fell apart, in a blur of self hatred and sadness. I lost who I was
