POV — Y/n:

I was trapped in a dream I couldn't wake from—a long, suffocating nightmare. My body was frozen, but my mind thrashed wildly, desperate to escape. Each second dragged like iron through water. I screamed and screamed inside my head, but no sound escaped.

I was conscious. Just paralyzed. Mute. Helpless.

Itachi had put me under Tsukuyomi.

An illusion so powerful it could shatter time. To anyone else, it was torture. But this time, Itachi had used it to protect me. To seal me away. To keep me out of danger.

I couldn't tell how long I'd been under. Minutes? Hours?

All I knew was that I needed to get out.

Wake up. Please—wake up. I have to find him.

POV — Narrator:

An hour passed.

The air outside was still. Silent. Y/n lay motionless in the shadow of the trees, but her soul was screaming to rise. Her heart thudded with urgency, with fear, with a love that refused to let go.

Far away, Itachi walked steadily into the mouth of destiny.

The final battle waited on the mountainside—where love, blood, and legacy would collide.

High atop a terraced mountain near Konoha, within the broken ruins of the Uchiha hideout, Itachi sat in silence.

Stone crumbled beneath his feet. Shadows clawed at the walls.

He didn't think of battle.

He thought of her.

Y/n... I've done too much. Strayed too far. And I never told you everything. I never had the right to.

He closed his eyes, pressing his forehead to his fingers.

Then—footsteps.

Slow. Steady. Measured like fate.

From the darkness emerged Sasuke, face grim and still. His Sharingan glowed like embers, unwavering.

Itachi met his brother's eyes.

"How much can you see with that Sharingan of yours?" he asked, his voice low.

Sasuke didn't blink. "What I'm seeing right now, Itachi, is you dead at my feet."

A single heartbeat passed.

Then they moved.

Itachi disappeared from the throne, reappearing beside him in an instant. "Then go on. Make it happen."

The brothers clashed—lightning and fury and fire.

POV — Kisame:

On a ridge below, Kisame's blade snarled as it clashed with Suigetsu's.

The clang of metal rang through the valley.

"You spacing out, old man?" Suigetsu jeered.

Kisame didn't reply.

He thought of Itachi. Of the quiet between them. Of the rare, dry humor. The half-smiles. The silent loyalty.

You were never like the rest of us. You didn't belong in this hell.

His jaw tightened.

You always tried to be the ghost. The monster. But I saw right through you.
