I didn't give him a chance to reply before running off with the others to our launching pad. My dream was finally coming true.

. . . . .

Octavia's POV
"Andrews, Rodgers are you both strapped in and done your safety checks?" I smiled at them as I checked if all the controls were in place properly.

They both answered with a yes and take off protocols started. "Silver to central command. We are ready for take off when you are." I waited patiently for Iverson's ready to go before I started our lift off.

"Be safe out there cadets."

. . . . .

As we got further into space and away from space rubbish our shuttle went onto auto pilot so we could relax a bit. Andrews did an amazing job at learning all the ropes and tricks. Maybe if I want a break later he could pilot for a while.

I sat back in my chair, relaxing as I looked into the dark abyss, scattered with twinkling lights. Rodgers was dorking on about all the machinery there was in our tiny capsule while Andrews tried starting up a conversation about life with me.

This went on for a while until Atlas came into view, we all perked up and got our focus onto our landing. I was internally freaking out. Holy shit! I'm landing my first space mission! We landed safely, grabbed our equipment and made our way to Atlas' floor to collect samples.

As Andrews and Rodgers were looking around for life forms I sat down and decided to write about our experience so far. I was so grateful that Keith had returned my journal before I went to space. The joy that writing in my journal brings me is a joy I can't actually put into words.

All of a sudden I heard the boys scream, causing me to flinch and throw the journal back into the ship before running over to see what had happen. Andrews and Rodgers stood frozen in their place as big purple cat looking creatures stepped out of a newly landed ship. They were like us, just weird cat thingys. Like super hairy elves, but more intimidating.

As I approached them the one that I assumed was the leader looked at me with a smirk, making nerves bubble in my stomach. When he turned to the other aliens that accompanied him I looked over at Andrews and Rodgers, trying not to make them freak out anymore.

"I'm going to try get them to leave, go and stay in the ship. And if I'm struggling with them you need to go. As your head pilot its my job to keep you safe." I smiled and motioned them to go back to the ship. Andrews gave me a worried look before leaving with Rodgers.

The leader looked back at me as a witch walked towards me, her wicked yellow eyes flashing as she smirked at me. "Ah yes, Prince Lotor will definitely like this one. Tell me girl, why are you here?" Her voice was raspy, like the witches out of a fairy tail.

I looked around before sighing and looking back at her. "Well, I came here from earth with two other cadets from a flight academy. We don't mean any harm, we just came to get samples from the ground and report on any life forms. My companions and I grew up loving space so it's a pleasure to be able to explore." A small smile made its way to my face.

The witch looked me up and down before smirking. "How about you come with us, if you love space so much how about becoming the princess of it." My eyes went wide as the aliens grabbed onto my arms and started carrying me away. I tried to get out of their grip but the witch blew some kind of yellow smoke in my face, causing black to take over my vision....
