Chap 8: Rodgers the Coward

"If you love space so much, how about becoming the princess of it." My eyes went wide as the Aliens grabbed me and started carrying me away. I tried getting out of their grip but the witch blew some kind of yellow smoke in my face, causing black to take over my vision.

Andrews' POV
Rodgers and I watched frozen in our places as Silver was taken away by the Aliens. "Oliver get us out of here, I don't want to die out here as well. She told us to leave her behind if she was in trouble!" Anger bubbled up inside me as Rodgers yelled at me.

He's such a coward for wanting to leave her like that, but as much as I wanted to help I knew I wouldn't be able to save her. "For god sake Matthew, you might as well quit if you're going to be such a coward. We didn't even get enough samples!" I growled as I got us out of there and started our trip back to earth.

If anything that idiot should've been the one to sacrifice himself, I can't believe I'm even friends with him. Crap- How is Cadet Kogane going to react?

As we were landing I saw Iverson waiting for us with a big smile. "Central Command to Atlas Crew. How's everyone doing up there Silver?" His voice rang through our communicators. I sighed and flicked my communicator so I could report back to him.

"Andrews to Central Command. Silver didn't make it back. We were attacked and she sacrificed herself for our safety. We're coming out now." My voice cracked as I saw Iverson's face drop, I had almost forgotten that she was his daughter.

Rodgers made sure he was the first out of the ship, I grabbed Octavia's journal and followed after him. I walked up to Iverson and bowed. "I am so sorry sir. The aliens came out of nowhere. And- Here." I stood up straight and gave him the small vile of sample we had gotten from Atlas' floor.

He sniffled a little before composing himself and giving me a quick salute, that's when Cadet Kogane came running up to us yelling.

Keith's POV
I was sitting in the school corridors waiting for Octavia to land her crews ship when Griffin came walking up to me.

"Piss off James. I don't have time for your shit right now." I glared at him as he leant on the wall across from me.

"Oh yeah? All I came for was to inform you that your girlfriends ship landed without her." He scoffed and stood up. "I'm not always a jerk Mullet."

I looked up at him shocked before getting to my feet quickly. "You better not be joking Griffin or I'll hurt you."

He nodded and walked off in the other direction before I ran off to the landing point. "Iverson where is she!? She promised she's come back!"

Both Iverson and Andrews turned to look at me, Iverson sighed while Andrews looked me apologetically and handed me Via's journal."I'm sorry Keith. But she didn't make it back with us."

So James wasn't kidding...

No ones POV
Octavia was still unconscious, now tied up to one of Haggars experiment beds and undergoing multiple types of tests. The Galran Prince walked in as to check on her.

"Don't ruin her to much you dang witch! She is fragile remember." He growled at Haggar before going over to caress Octavia's face.

"Prince Lotor, you will be surprised to hear that he human has Galran and Altean blood coursing through her veins. You have a special girl." Haggar smirked as she watched Lotor admire the unconscious female.

Lotor's eyebrows raised at the news; Galran, Altean and Human. This girl really was special.

Octavia's eyes started to open, her head pounding from the yellow dust she had inhaled back on Atlas.

"Mm, my heads killing me." Octavia groaned as Haggar disappeared so she wasn't seen by the girl.

Lotor looked down at her with a caring smile. "It's alright now, you're safe with me. I've got you." If anything she was far from safe with Lotor.

But she didn't know that...
