I've been helping Shiro figure a way out of this shit hole. He thinks I'm coming with but, I can't go back to earth like this.
I'm around two months pregnant with an alien child, what would happen if I had a purple baby on earth?
Octavia's POV
Shiro escaped safely for what I know, I hope he made it back to earth okay-
He promised me that he'd make sure Keith is okay and apologise to him for me after telling him that I'm alright. I made he swear not to tell him about Lotor or my son. Yes, I found out the kids gender.
Of course Lotor's happy about not having a daughter, meaning our son will be the next leader after him. He's a sexist fuck.
No one's POV
Shiro did in fact make it back to earth safely, though he didn't receive much of a warm welcome back.
Due to now having one of his arms replaced with a Galra tech arm, the Garrison had in a big dome so he was isolated as doctors ran all types of tests on him.
Luckily four cadets came to his rescue, that including a recently expelled Keith, the Lover boy Lance and Lance's two nerdy friends: Pidge and Hunk.
When they were far enough away from the school after escaping on Keith's hover bike, they stopped at the abandoned Keith had been staying at.
After everyone had gotten comfortable for the night Shiro stood outside to stare up at the sky. He felt bad for leaving Octavia up there in her current condition.
He was snapped out of his thoughts when Keith placed his hand on his shoulder. "It's good to have you back Shiro." He gave him a small smile which Shiro returned.
"It's good to be back Keith." he sighed and sat down on the porches steps. "She's okay Keith. Octavia is alright. And she apologises for not coming back with me." Shiro looked back up at Keith to see him staring down at him with wide eyes.
"Really?!" Keith let out a relieved sigh before wiping his eyes, he hadn't noticed the small tears that were pooling in his eyes.
He sat down next to Shiro and looked up at the sky as well. "She's going to come back right? Not having her here is killing me.."
Shiro smiled weakly and placed his hand on Keith's shoulder to reassure him. "She'll come back when the time is right. She's got some things to do up there before she comes back. You'll know everything soon I promise."
Little did they know it would be a few more years until they would see her again, because their lives were about to take an abrupt turn none of them were expecting.
The two talked for a few more hours before they went inside to get their nights rest. Keith fell asleep feeling more relaxed than ever. Shiro came back and he knew Octavia was okay. Things were going to be okay.
Or so he thought...
