Chapter 6

As the next day was Saturday, most students would normally have breakfast late. Though when the Slytherin group arrived early as normal they noticed the hall a lot more busy than usual. They saw the students milling around, some of them eating a small breakfast, all examining the goblet of fire. "Anyone put their name in yet?" Julia asked Neville knowing he was normally one of the first to get to breakfast. 

"All the Durmstrang lot have but I haven't seen anyone from Hogwarts yet." He said to her as she smiled at him. Sitting next to him and annoying some of the other Gryffindor's as she ate some breakfast as she sat at his table. 

"I bet some of them put their names in last night after we had all gone to bed. That is what I would have done if it had been me after all. Who wants everyone watching only to not be chosen after all." Julia said as Neville nodded in agreement. They had some casual conversation as the great hall doors slammed open. 

Loud chatter can be heard as Fred, George and Lee entered all smiles and excitement. "Done it, just taken it." Fred said to Ron, though they heard him. "What?" He asked stupidly as Julia giggled. "The aging potion, dungbrains." said George to him, hitting the back of his head a little. "One drop each, we only need to be a few months older after all." Fred said, rubbing his hands together in glee as he looks over at Julia and Neville. She gives them a thumbs up, knowing they will enter without issue. A small smirk playing on her lips. 

"We are going to split the thousand Galleons between the three of us if one of us wins." Lee said, smiling broadly. "I'm not sure this is going to work, you know. I'm sure Dumbledore would of thought of this." Hermione said cockily. Julia rolled her eyes. Fred, George and Lee ignored her. "You see Hermione that is why it is a great idea, because it is so dim-witted." Julia said with a smirk. Hermione rolled her eyes as Fred and George mock glared at her. 

Everyone pretty much turned to watch as Fred, Lee and George got their parchment ready before jumping over the line together. They waited and waited. Nothing happened. The eyes of every person in the hall looked on in amazement. The trio looked at each other in surprise before laughing as they all put their names in before stepping out of the circle just as Dumbledore entered the room. 

"I hate to say but I am impressed, you must have done more than an ageing potion though. Miss Fawcett of Ravenclaw, Mr Summers of Hufflepuff both used ageing potions and it didn't work. I will have to reinforce my spell. If it does chose you I hope you understand the consequences of your actions." Dumbledore said seriously. Moving forward and reinforcing the circle around the Goblet. 

"We understand Headmaster." Fred said as they walked away, giant smiles on their faces as Hermione looks annoyed. Julia smirks as Neville looks at her curiously. Julia headed back over to the Slytherin table after bidding Neville goodbye. She greeted her friends all smiles. "We need to talk together in the secret room later." Julia told the group who were confused but nodded. 

They ate together all enjoying the Halloween decorations. The cloud of live bats were fluttering around the enchanted ceiling, while hundreds of carved pumpkins leered from every corner. "We were just discussing who might be entering their names. Warrington from Slytherin put his name in earlier and Cedric Diggory from Hufflepuff has put his name in too. Who else do you think might enter?" Blaise said curiously. 

They were distracted by a Gryffindor entering their name. "I didn't think Angelina Johnson was 17 yet." Harry said confused. "Her birthday was last week I believe." Pansy said from beside them, showing she was paying attention to them. After they finished eating and chatting quietly they left heading upstairs. 

They took several dark secret passages up to the seventh floor and into the Room of requirement. After heading into a library type room with a fireplace that Julia asked for they sat down and settled, looking at Julia confused. she sighed looking down at her hands rubbing them together. "Ok to start, please don't judge me for this." Julia starts as they give her curious looks. 

"What did you do?" Harry asked, looking a little worried. "Ok so Yesterday after Dumbledore did the spell around the Goblet I recognized it so later in the evening I sneaked in there and mostly undid the spell. While I was there though I saw Professor Moody in there which was weird in and of itself but he put Harry's name in the goblet. I think it was either from Dumbledore or Voldemort's orders." Julia said, rubbing her neck as everyone was shocked. 

"Your joking! Come on I don't want to be part of this." Harry said in horror as Draco was all for going to fight him. Blaise though was thinking rationally. "We should tell Lucius, Regulus and Sirius about this. They might be able to help us." Blaise said as Daphne nodded, wanting to help him. "I wasn't thinking... ummmm" Julia said as everyone turned to her again. 

"What else did you do?" Draco asked concerned noticing her face. Julia continued rubbing her hands together anxiously, partially regretting her rash actions. "He entered me too.." She said looking at her hands. An audible gasp of shock was heard. "He did what?" Harry asked looking up at her in surprise. "I don't want to be in the death tournament... " She said looking up at them anxiously. 

"It's fine, you are more than strong enough to compete. Harry on the other hand-" Draco says comfortingly till Harry slaps the back of his head. "Hey, I'm more than strong enough-" Harry starts, Theodore smirks as he cuts him off, "Good then you don't need our help." he said as Harry looks gobsmacked. "Wait I didn't mean it like that!" Harry said as everyone laughs at him. " Of course we are gonna help you. Both of you." Daphne said as they started making plans and writing plans to send off to the parents for help. They went to the owlery and sent the letters off before heading to lunch.
