Chapter 16

Harry and Draco met up with Julia as they entered the Slytherin common room. She saw the difference in them immediately. "Did you finally do it Draco?" Julia asks with a slight smirk as Harry then gave her an almost betrayed and shocked look as Draco nodded. "Yeah I did and he said yes." Draco said happily. 

"I told you he would. It was obvious." Julia said with a smile. "To you maybe." Draco said grumpily as Harry laughed slightly. "Why didn't you tell me Julia?" Harry asked almost annoyed as Julia rubbed the back of her neck slightly. "It wasn't my secret to tell and I promised I wouldn't." Julia said honestly as Harry huffs slightly. 

"Fine ... I get it. On another note, has anyone asked you yet Julia?" Harry asks with a sort of teasing tone. Julia suddenly looks down at her hands, looking kinda sad. "Actually no ... not yet.." Julia says slowly. Harry and Draco looked shocked as did Blaise, Daphne and Theo who had just walked in.

"Wait your saying no one has even asked you yet?" Blaise asked, looking confused. Daphne and Blaise both look at each other confused on why no one would ask Julia, especially since she is a champion. "Yeah, I mean a few people have approached me and I thought they might but they didn't. I just Its not long until the ball and I can't go alone.." Julia says as she looks down at her hands embarrassed. 

"Hey, It's alright. I know someone will ask you. Us males can be a little nervous about these things alright. Is there anyone in particular you want to ask you?" Theo asks her curiously. Julia's face gains a pinkish tint as she stutters out, "I umm no ... no one in particular.." Julia says. 

They can easily tell she is lying though. "Come on." Daphne says, "Please tell us." Harry asks giving puppy dog eyes. "You can trust us." Draco says giving her puppy dog eyes.  She sighs as she thinks to herself, 'Is it worth it.' 

"I... I do you promise not to tell anyone..?" She asks, looking embarrassed. The others all look at each other and nod before putting a silencing charm around them so no one else hears their conversation. "I like George.." Julia says quietly. The others looked shocked except Harry who had his suspicions.  

"Wait you mean George Weasely!" Draco yells in shock as he stood up. Julia nodded slightly, embarrassed by Draco's outburst as she buried her head back in her hands in her lap as the others all glared at Draco. Draco quickly caved under their peer pressure as he sat back down. "I'm sorry for my outburst Julia I was just surprised." Draco mumbles out. 

They suddenly hear sniffles coming from Julia, "I know It's stupid and there is no way he likes me, Its just my crush.." Julia mumbles out before getting up and running straight to her dorm. Daphne sighs annoyed at the others before getting up and running after her.

Harry, Blaise, Theo and Draco all looked at each other concerned. "Julia is our friend, we have to do something." Blaise said, looking longingly in the direction Julia and Daphne ran off. "Well do we know if George has asked anyone yet?" Theo asks the group all look at each other. "Well I'm not sure but I don't think so." Harry says almost hopefully. 

"What does it matter?" Draco says grumpily. "Because Julia wants to go with him." Blaise says matter of factly. "She could do so much better than that blood traitor though." Draco says annoyed as he sits up. "Well obviously but she wants him and we want her happy." Theo says. "How can we even get him to ask her anyway?" Draco says as the others look pleased that he has seemly given in. 

"Maybe I could subtly try and get him to ask her.." Harry says slowly almost unsure. "Sounds good." Theo says. "We can try that but we need a backup plan." Blaise says as they all head to bed after getting a backup plan.
