Chapter 18

Julia sits at the Slytherin table, trying to keep her calm. Draco taps her shoulder, Julia looks up at him. Her eyes are sad. "What's wrong Julia?" He asks her. Julia watches Fred enter the great hall and join the Gryffindor table. "Nothing. Don't worry about it Draco." Julia says . She picks at her food. Her friends look at each other strangely and worried but say nothing. 

Julia watches the two twins chatting and occasionally looking back at her. 'That was a mean prank. Even though he didn't know about her crush. It was probably meant to be harmless.' Julia thought to herself as she pushed her plate away and got up to head back out and practice her bubble head charm. If she gets it right maybe she can even scout the lake before the task. 

Harry gets up to follow her even though he clearly hasn't finished his lunch. Julia pushed him back into his seat making a 'tut tut' sound as he rolls his eyes in annoyance. As Julia is practicing the twins exit the castle. They had finished lunch and were approaching were Julia was practicing. 

"Hey Julia!" Fred called out. George following behind him. "How is your practicing going?" George asks. Julia looking at the two of them slightly annoyed her but she kept her calm. "It's going well." She says coldly. Fred and George look at each other strangely. They slowly approach her and George gently grabs her shoulder and turns her around. 

She shrugs him off. "Look I'm sorry-" Fred starts before George cuts him off. "No, look it's my fault. Harry told me you have a crush on me," He starts as Julia's face starts going really red from embarrassment. "I made the point that it's not like you can tell us apart so it isn't much of a crush.." He says trailing off embarrassed. 

Fred realises he isn't going to go on and continues for him. "I said that we could umm test you. He really does want to go with you he was just nervous. We were pleasantly surprised as most of the time people can't tell us apart. Not even our mother can." Fred says sadly. Julia stands before them shocked. Angry and annoyed yet happy with Harry even though she was embarrassed. 

"Well I mean you do look different. I well umm I thought you were teasing me." Julia says sadly. George grabs her arm as he looks slightly red in the face. "No I do want to go with you. I'm sorry. I umm do you still want to go with me. To the yule ball I mean." He asks her. Julia looks him over. It was indeed her George. She smiled and nodded excited. "Yes! Yes yes yes. I mean yeah if you want to.." Julia says seeming embarrassed. 

They continued training and as the others arrived Julia had a talk with Harry about secrets. He apologized but he was too distracted with the fact her and George were actually going to the ball together. Dinner soon came and after Julia went to her dance class. Harry told the others the good news. Daphne and Pansy helped find some bits for her outfit. The ball was coming up after all.
