Three days without Nicolas.

Three days without being in his arms

Three days with his surname on mine.

Sometimes, I'd dream about him and cry all night.

It doesn't do me any good, knowing for the fact that I'd still miss him day by day.

"Sweetheart, wake up! It's fishing day!" Duncle knocked on my door softly. I stretched under the covers, my whole body shaking from the pleasure of the stretch.

Today is our fishing day. Me, Aunt May and Duncle were using our family boat and fishing. We used to do this a lot, and sometimes, we'd end up grilling the food.

Aunt May and I made up from the argument, but still, she'd ignore me when we're alone, or there was this gap between us that's temporary, but I didn't know when it was going to vanish.

I stood up from bed, getting ready for our small adventure.

I heard Aunt May's laughs from the kitchen. Who was making her laugh this loud?

"Aunt M—"

I stopped. My whole body— heart — aching from the sight of him.

What is he doing here? Why is he here?

"Baby, look who came!" Aunt May cheered, a smile creeping her lips.

I couldn't talk, or even move. How did he find me?

"Oceana."

I must have died and went to heaven.

His voice made me want to hug him tightly. But it angered me to be near him.

Not because of what he is, but because of his lying. I trusted him and opened up, why couldn't he do it, too?

Something must have happened; he looked tired, stressed and messy. He still tried to smile, that hope written all over his face.

"Nicolas." I breathed. My whole body shutting down.
