Flippy got really excited and couldn't even wait for the night, he immediately closed the library for the day after everyone got their books. "So, we got a date with the town freak? Oh, wait, which freak am I even talking about?" Fliqpy chuckled. "Haha, very funny, Mr. Rabies." "Oh no, you got the wrong guy. Mr. Rabies is that one squirrel who's obsessed with candy." Flippy rolled his eyes. "Look, can't you bother me some other time? I have to get ready for tonight." "Hey, dum-dum. It's only 10:20 in the morning, and you asked her for around 5:30 pm." "Well, it's never too early to go and search for a suit for me and some flowers or a small gift for her." "Actually, it's too early to do anything, Flippy." "Yeah, yeah, whatever, Fliqpy."

"I still don't get how you seem to..." "Like her?" "No, put up with her. And if y'all became a relationship, there'd not really have any fun in it." "Alright, well, we're approaching the first store, so settle down, please. I don't want to look stupid." And there was silence, so Flippy assumed that Fliqpy was actually being respectful to him, and he walked inside. "Howdy there, Flippy!" The bear turned his head and saw Lumpy at the cashier's desk. "Oh, hello there, Lumpy. I didn't know you worked here." The moose tilted his head. "I don't." "What?" "I don't work here." "Then what are you doing back there?" "There's free money in this thing. Want some?" "What the- no! You can't be there unless you are an employee." "Well then, I'm an employee." "It doesn't work like that." "What're you talking about? Of course it works like that." "Not the time, Fliqpy..." Flippy mumbled. "What'd you say?" "Nothing!" "Well, if you're not going to get something, you might as well just leave." Lumpy said as he sat down and began reading a newspaper.

There was a moment of silence before the moose moved his head up to still see the bear still in front of him. "Well? Hop to it!" Flippy jumped a little and dashed to the tie section. °Jeez, what crawled up his end?° "Probably a bean can." "What?" "What?" "There a problem?" Lumpy called. "Nope, all good!" Flippy exclaimed. °You can hear my thoughts?!° "Of course I can! I'm in your head which is where your thoughts are!" "Well, why didn't you tell me?" "Excuse me?!" Lumpy slammed his hand on the desk. "If you have a problem with the way I run this store, you can go yourself, or I'll give you the boot!" "Sorry, Lumpy. I'll keep it down." "You better." "YeAh, YoU bEtTeR kEeP iT DoWn!" Fliqpy mocked. °Please quiet down.° "Not a chance." Flippy sighed and tried to ignore him as he proceeded to look at some of the clothes. "I still don't get why we need to be 'fancy' and wear a suit instead of the casual camo jacket." °Of course you don't. Then again, why am I not surprised? I haven't really flipped out in a bit and you don't love anything except killing my friends.° "They aren't your friends! They're enemies in disguise!"

"Oh yeah, what about Flaky then, huh?!"

The evil bear snickered. "What? What could possibly be so funny?" But Fliqpy didn't answer. Flippy groaned and turned around to see Lumpy looking down at him with his 2 hands on his hips. The bear tried to apologize but was cut off by the moose grabbing him by the back of his jacket and he tossed him out of the store. "Well, that hurt." "Brainless thing didn't even work here, and still threw us out. Now that's something." "Excuse me, sir?" Flippy looked up and saw Panda Mom lending her paw to him. "Oh, hello, Flippy. It's been quite a while, hasn't it?" "It has. What are you doing back in town?" "You know, just decided to move back. Are you alright, though?" "Yeah, simply trying to find a decent suit for tonight." Panda Mom raised a brow. "What's so special about tonight?" Flippy lightly blushed and scratched the back of his head. "Well, I finally have this girl who-" "Please, don't tell me that it's the pink chipmunk woman." Panda Mom muttered with her paw gripping firmly to Flippy's shoulder. "No, no. Giggles and I aren't together anymore. I mean we're friends, somewhat, but I have another girl in mind." "Yeah, literally. She's everywhere in here." The bear forced a smile and the other tilted her head.

"Fliqpy's still messing with you?" Flippy's eyes shot open. "You still remember him?" "Of course I do. It's my 'special power' of remembering things a lot... vividly." "That's shocking." They began walking side by side on the sidewalk. "Not really for me. Speaking of girls, I met a girl earlier today. Real sweet, poor thing was being chased by a lime green squirrel covered with candy." "That's Nutty." "Well then, Nutty was asking for candy, but I gave him money so he could get some himself." "Don't expect him to pay you back." "Well, he better! Anyways, we walk together and start talking, and she's lived here her whole life, or at least she thinks so. She then drags me away from this other bear named Disco Bear, who tries to flirt with me." Flippy chuckled. "Yep, that's Disco Bear alright." "If I were him, I'd hate my life." Panda Mom laughed as the 2 bears passed by the funky one, hearing him say, "I take full offense to that."
