After Flippy and Flaky ate and paid for their food, they walked to a nearby playground and sat on the swings. Flippy sat absolutely still on them and was blushing hard because he still couldn't believe that Flaky stood up for him and actually cared about him. He looked beside of him to see Flaky looking down, fidgeting with her paws, and sighed. "Flippy? Have you..." "Yeah?" "Have you ever been in a relationship?" The bear didn't say anything, he only nodded in response.

"How many?" "Just 1, Giggles. We were together for about 1 month and I woke up to see her covered in blood and.." Flippy began to increase his breathing rate and Flaky panicked to this. °Oh no, he's gonna flip out. He's gonna flip out.° She looked around to find something that could calm him down. °Uh, flowers! And... butterflies! And... uh... hugs!° "Hey, Flippy, here's a dandelion." He looked up and saw her giving out the yellow petal plant and took it. "Look at all those butterflies over there! Pretty, right?" "Heh, very pretty." Flaky took Flippy's paws and pressed them against her own, slipping their fingers in the other's spaces, looking into each other's eyes.

"F-Flaky..." Flippy slowly leaned in to kiss Flaky, but she moved back and took her paws away from his. "No, I can't." "Huh?" "I can't just kiss somebody after a breakup, Flippy." Her eyes began to tear up and she covered them. "COME ON, NITWIT! Say something in defense like a leaf in her quills!" °I can't believe I'm taking advice from you.° "Uh, Flaky, I don't mean to kiss you, I was just checking to see if I was looking correctly to realize there's a leaf in your quills." Flaky exposed her face from hiding and put her paws at her sides.

"What?" Flippy put his paw on his neck and forced a chuckle. "Yeah, um... if you want, I can get it out for you." Flaky nodded and clapsed her paws lowly while Flippy stood up and walked behind her, so that way, she couldn't see him picking a fallen leaf off the ground. "Got it." She turned around and saw the leaf in his paw and assumed he was right. "Sorry about the misjudgment, Flippy." She twiddled with her fingers as he took a step toward her. "Look, I get it, breakups and time after it happen are difficult. But these things do take time and if you need help talking about it, you can speak with me if you want."

And the 2 animals hugged, waved goodbye, and walked to their houses alone as the sun started to go down.
