Since Beidou was about to stay in Liyue for some time now, Kazuha visited the store like he usually would when he got a chance. Sitting in the same weird bar-chair-like chair as yesterday, eyes dazed, he rested his head on his palms. Just like he always did.

We have been sitting in silence staring at each other for a long time now. One could ask: why are we acting so strange? Well, the answere is we were playing the let's-see-who-can-stare-longer-without-blinking game. Never would have thought that Kazuha would be willing to do something as foolish as that. But here we were.

How did i manage to get him play it with me? Well, i didn't. The truth is that when we didn't have any topic to talk about anymore, Kazuha just got lost in his thoughts. Probably writing a haiku or something in his head. But once i noticed, i sat down as well and placed myself in the same position in front of him: hands leaning onto the counter and head resting on them. His gaze was unfocused and so i decided to mimic it.

As long as i have looked at Kazuha now, i haven't seen him blink even once. And i have been staring right into his eyes for more than a minute. His eyelids had only flickered a little and that's it. He's just like a stone statue.

"...Kaedehara," i whispered.
"Kaedehara, you win."

It took him a moment to sink in but when it did his eyes went back to life within a moment. He blinked for a few times and then said:
"Sorry, got really lost in thought there... Also... win what?"

Kazuha was obviously confused. Who wouldn't be though? He was just peacfully thinking until someone stated that he won.

"You win the let's-see-who-can-stare-longer-without-blinking game."

"...what?"

"You stared into space for more than a minute without blinking. So i joined in the game but obviously you won since i actually need to blink or else i'm gonna cry."

"Well i didn't know i participated but if that's how you see it... Then what's the prize?"

"Kaedehara, there is no prize. This game wasn't anything official. But if you want a prize then we could always repeat and see who wins then?"

"No thank you. And also, you don't need to call me "Kaedehara", we're friends-" Kazuha was cut off by me saying something smart:
"And friends can tease eachother by calling them "Kaedehara", Kaedehara."

He sighed in defeat.

---

"Kazuha, i just remembered!"

"Hm? What?" He looked up to my now enthusiastic face.

"What did Beidou say? Can i come?"

"Ah, yes. She said we're leaving next monday that is... just about in 8 days. Said you can join us then. She also told me to get you an hour before leaving-"

"She said yes! Kazuha that's wonderful!" I jumped up and down. Then rushed over to the other side of the counter to hug Kazuha. He was surprised at first but hugged me back with a little warm smile.

Once i let go he added:
"Just for you to know... we are going to Inazuma."

Wait, Inazuma? Didn't he like tell us it was closed when he came over to eat dinner?

"...i thought it was a closed nation?"

"It is, indeed. But Beidou has her ways. Though i don't recommend going around in Inazuma with a vision, fortunately you don't have one, but as for me... In addition to that i have a vision i'm also wanted for stealing one"

"Ouch, that must feel pretty bad, huh?"

He nodded.

Poor Kazuha, banned from his own homeland...

That thought was cut off my the bell at the door. A customer. A usual one. Xinyan.

"Hi Y/n!" She rushed in.

"Let me guess, you need new guitar strings?"

"...yes"

I sighed:
"Maybe if you weren't so harsh on them they would even last for more than just a week?"

"I don't come here every week as you say, i only-"

"That's because you sometimes just buy 2 packs of strings but whatever, more mora for me i guess" i added jokingly.

"Well, i... Uh, fine you're right," she agreed as she gave me the right amount of mora. After buying the same thing over and over again one just can't help but remember the price.

"Thanks Xinyan," i said as i took the mora. She was just about to turn and see herself out when i remembered:
"Xinyan, you may want to buy one more, the sales record says that every product, that costs 3000 mora or less, bought for 50th time, is 100% sale"

"Really?! That's a thing now? Well that rocks! I'll take one more then!" She was obviously happy that for once she got her guitar strings for free. After taking another pack of these she left the store with a "goodbye!".

"She's quite a spirit" Kazuha remarked from where he was peacefully sitting.

"She is... Oh, by the way, where were we with our conversation?"

"I just told you that we're going to Inazuma," Kazuha replied.

"Right. Did you have anything else you wanted to say about that trip or..."

"Actually yes, i have. I wanted to tell you that before we go there we will be going to Guyun Stone Forest."

"Okay... But why?" I was confused, what would we be doing there?

"You see," Kazuha started, his voice already getting sadder and crackier.

Oh no, don't tell me...

"It's because of my friend's vision"

There it is. Ow, how do i always get Kazu to talk about things that make him sad, that's so unnice of me...

"I want someone to have it, someone that can light it's fire and use this vision as theirs. I believe... I believe this vision can be reawakened by someone else, someone who's worthy of it"

Where will you ever find this kind of worthy person to light it's fire, Kazuha?

"Since Beidou will be making a tournament of martial arts there, i thought that maybe the winner will be able to use his vision," Kazuha ended his story.

"I see..."
