"...so today I talked to Kazuha," i said munching down on my food.
"Mhm," mom replied.
"And he said that Beidou said that i can join them on the Crux."
"Really?" Mom was surprised. Dad only raised an eyebrow as if saying yeah-i'm-listening,-go-on.
"Yes, and he said that we are leaving on next Monday, that's 8 days from now, and he also said that he's gonna get me an hour before leaving and that we are going to Guyun Stone Forest," i went on.
"That's a lot of information for sure"
"Mhm, and after that we're going to Inazuma!" I happily stated. Mom and dad both nearly choked on their food. Dad put down his glass while still coughing and said:
"Honey, it's all sweet and wonderful but... Didn't Kazuha say it was closed?""He did, but he also said that Beidou has her ways," i answered, mimicing Kazuha.
"Oh well, he'd better take good care of you out there, i don't want you to get hurt, specially when you'll be that far away..." Mom became all motherly again. She's always like this when i'm about to do something recless. Which i totally understand of course but still.
"You know i'll be fine, i'll visit you sometime soon anyway. Beidou comes to Liyue every now and then so it won't be a problem," i reassured them.

Monday morning at 10 am-"That's all you have?" Kazuha asked when he noticed i have packed only one bag.
"What do you mean that's all i have? It's exactly everything i need." I defensively replied.
"I mean judging by your room i would have thought you'd have lots of bags since it was filled with everything you could ever think of..."
"Then you shouldn't judge by my room. Most of the things i have there are useless anyway, i just keep them because i like them or because they remind me of some events in my life."
"As you wish."
With that our conversation ended and me and Kazuha began walking towards the Crux. It was sailed in Liyue's port.
The walk there was pretty uneventful. We talked about random things and different places. Kazuha told me about his adventures in other nations. Though as i found out, he has sailed with Crux only a little longer than we have known. A month or so, maybe a bit longer.
When we reached the port, i saw a huge ship. Seemed really fancy to me.
"Is this the Crux?" I asked in awe.
"It is, indeed"
"Woah, that's huge... Do you have like a separated room? Ooh, can i have a separated room? This place is so big i'd say that everyone could have a separated room!" I was so happy to finally be here. And the Crux is way cooler than i thought. I was like a kid in a candy shop.
"I don't know too much about the others but i do have a separated room as you put it," he replied clearly amused by my actions. But i didn't care, i already had my hands full with thinking about my future on the Crux.
Kazuha led me to the ship and together we went to look for Beidou in her captain cabin. Kazuha knocked on the door to which a woman's voice yelled for us to come in.
"Ah, Kazuha, and you must be Y/n. I have heard of you, only good, only good though," Beidou added when she noticed my a bit frightened look. I sighted in relief. It was great to know that Kazuha talks well about me.
"Come, i'll show you your room," Beidou casually said like she had done this rather often lately.
The three of us walked to the cabins with Beidou leading, me and Kazuha behind her. Once we reached a door, Beidou stopped.
"Here, that's your room. Unless you want to share with Kazuha, from what i have heard you two are getting along quite well..." She teasingly said.
"What?! No! Not that i have anything against Kazuha, what i'm trying to tell is tha-" I was obviously blushing and caught off guard. I haven't even known Kazuha for too long and now i'm already getting paired up with him?!
"Haha, no need to get all awkward like that! I was just kidding," Beidou chuckled.
"Anyway, make yourself comfortable. I'll take my leave now." She walked back to the deck and found some guy from her crew to ask about something. I don't know what though, some ship stuff i'd say.I went into my room. It was small, with a bed fit for one person on which i soon settled down. Of course before doing so, i threw my bag on the floor.
Lying there, in my bed, i took a big breath in, held it for a few seconds and exhaled with a wide smile.
I'm actually here.
I was so, so happy. I hugged the folded bedsheets beside me and rolled from side to side, still tightly hugging them.
After my burst of happiness, i decided to actually be useful. So i took all the bedsheets i had hugged and made the bed. I gently brushed out every unnecessary fold i could. Standing back to admire my work i exhaled in satisfication. It was pretty. And what made it even better was the fact i made it and it all belonged to me. Not exactly belonged but something similar to it. Whatever it was, it made me feel good and that's what matters.
I then took my bag from where i had thrown it before and placed it on the bed foot. Sure, it kind of undid the work i had made on the folds but it didn't bother me one bit. It somehow made me feel more at home.
Since i was absolutely and utterly satisfied with my room now, i decided to pay a visit to the deck. Once i reached it, i leaned onto the railing and looked at the view. It was practically just the sea but it felt so different from seeing it from the Harbor. On land it was only a beautiful scenery but from here it represented my whole future. Ah, how i loved to think of finally getting to see the world!
Whatever i might encounter, i'll always remember what i did it for:
to see the world and its wonders.
(I was searching for some things and how did i mark down the time skips and suddenly i started to read what i had written and-
