From Kannazuka to Yashiori Island

"KazUHAAAA" i have returned to my game named pronounce-Kazuha's-name-as-wrong-as-possible or whatever i called it last time.

"KaEDEhara KazUUHhha"

"I still can't get the point of your doing, Y/n. What is it that you're trying to achieve?"

"Oh, nothing much. I just want to fill the silence"

He sighed the sigh of defeat.

"By the way... It's getting dark. We already arrived at Inazuma when the sun was setting. Shouldn't we go and get some sleep?" I asked.

"You're right. It is getting dark." Kazuha agreed.
"All we can do is find a tree under what we could rest."

He looked around for a bit before noticing a tree, his liking.
"Ah, that one will do," he said as he started walking towards the tree. I walked slightly behind him as he was leading us to it.

The tree wasn't very far so we didn't walk too long. Reaching it, Kazuha sat down under the tree and patted the space beside him, signaling me to sit there. As i sat next to Kazuha he rested his head on my shoulder. I placed my head on top of his and we stayed like this for awhile.

I felt my eyelids become heavier. Looking at Kazuha i realised he was already asleep.

How cute. He seems so peacful.

I put my hand over his torso curling myself closer to him. Letting my eyes close with ease i soon fell asleep.

Kazuha's POV~

I woke up with the sun. It was a beautiful morning, thought the air felt cold, it was also calming.

I felt something heavy on my chest. Looking down to see what it was i saw Y/n peacfully sleeping. Not wanting to disturb her sleep i stayed in place. And silence.

The sky was starting to light up more. I saw the sun rising high enough to make the shadow of the tree, we we're sitting under, envelope us. I took it as a signal to get up. But since Y/n was still sleeping i lifted myself so that she would lean onto the tree and not me.

Once i got up i stretched myself a little before making sure it was safe to leave Y/n here for a little time. Seeing nothing that would potentially hurt her i went off to get us something to eat.

Y/n's POV~

I felt myself getting back to reality. It went more and more diffucult to not open my eyes to the daylight. When i eventually came to my senses and bothered to actually open my eyes i realised something.

"...Kazuha?"

Huh? Where is he? Did he just leave me like that?

"Kaedehara?" I looked around after getting up. Sighting, i sat down again.

Where is he? Should i go looking for him? What if he doesn't want to be found? He will come back himself eventually, right? Right?

As the depat was taking over me i heard a familiar voice say my name from afar.

"Y/n, you're awake"

"Kazuha? Where were you? I was starting to get worried"

"Sorry to hear that. But you shouldn't worry, i just went to get us something to eat. Eating on the morning is very important, gives you energy for the rest of the day."

There he goes, lecturing me about eating. Like i had any problems with that.

"Oh, and i hope you like fish"

"Mh? Ah, yeah, i do. You better cook it well, i eat only the finest fish in Teyvat, so you better not dissapoint me," i said with a fake serious face and funny voice. Kazuha snickered a little at my antics.

"Now now, no need to judge by the looks. I, the finest fish cooker in the whole Teyvat, named The Finest Fish Cooker In The Whole Teyvat, by chance, happen to make the finest fish in the whole Teyvat!" Kazuha started off with the same weird face i made before. In the end of the sentence we both were laughing to tears.

"...really? Pfft, you are pretty fine yourself...pft... mister Finest Fish Cooker In The Whole Teyvat" i said nudging his arm with my elbow.

"You think so? Oh we must be offering the guests only the finest fish, don't you think?"

I was silent for a second, looking dumbly at Kazuha's face that was trying it's hardest to not burst out laughing.

"...what guests?"

"The guests of our finest wedding, miss Finest Wish Eater!"

"PFFFFT, NO WAY! NO WAY! DID YOU JUST...?!" I was laughing so hard. Did Kazuha just make a fricking joke about us getting marryed?
This was way too good to be real.

"Mhm, i think i did~" he sang.

"Kazuha you sly snake!" I jokingly hit his arm.

"Ouchaha, Y/n!" He laughed.

After awhile of joking around and fake-hitting eachother we finally calmed down.

(All and everyone! Mentions of fish harming!!!)

"Okay, okay, i should finally cook that finest fish to it's finest now." Kazuha said getting up and dusting himself off.

He started working on the fish. I looked away, not wanting to see Kazuha chop it's head off.

"That fish really was at it's finest! Thanks Kazu!" I thanked Kazuha for the delicious breakfast.

"No problem. And i have to agree, it tasted really wonderful."

I nodded, agreeing.

"Oh, but we should get going," Kazuha said looking at the suns position. I helped him clean up and pack up the part of the fish we kept for later today.

"See, this connection there? Between this and the island there?"

"Mhm, i do. Let me guess, this time you want to walk there?"

"I taught you well"

"Hey!"

"Just kidding, i know, you're intelligent enough to understand what i was saying."

With that we started walking on the beach towards the little connection between the two islands. Once we reached it i noticed something.

"Seems like i'll have no use of socks in the future..."

The land was there, yes, but it was practically under the water. Just a bit though, but enough to get my feet wet.

Kazuha who was still walking by my side chuckled at my little, tiny, almost nonexistent problem.

But the view was beautiful.
"Woah, Inazuma's so pretty..." I said in awe.

When we finally found ourselves on the island i just had to ask: "So where are we now?"

"Oh, almost forgot," Kazuha cleared his throat while standing in front of me, "welcome to Yashiori Island!"
